I regularly look around the home for stuff I no longer use - so I can bring it to the 2nd hand stores to be resold or given away (and I hate the #religulous Salvation Army and the profit-oriented "Goodwill Industries"...try to find a small, non-religious independent 2nd hand shop in your community.

I've shared this often - his "military industrial complex" warning he made 2 days before the end of his term. Ike was almost too far ahead of his time. He was instrumental in getting NASA "off the ground". He was key in getting returning Korean "War/police-action" vets to work on the national Interstate highway system. Sadly...his vice president was Richard M.Nixon. Ike was the reason I voted for Nixon. That was the first time I voted....and the last time I voted Republican.

Glad you posted this, Bill - if you hadn't I was strongly tempted to. Bill's right, again. I actually got in trouble as a teacher in the early 70's for using the F -slur....and it didn't have anything to do with the sexual preferences of my students...but I won't defend it - now - because I see - like Matt did - that it was wrong. Again...thanks for posting this. Matt was and is a great actor and a great person.
