That's a big hard ask. I think that I would add, 'try to', to those lines. Then it would perhaps be more in line with what real humans can manage.

Remember; Try to - is a phrase that allows for failure. Remove the Try to and go to "make it so"....for a better chance at success...

I've had a modest income with my retirement and Social security; but this one sort of fell in to my lap. Once the money issues are cleared out...and I close; it looks like it should be rather easy. It's only a few hundred feet from me (most renter-owners are "out of town").This is a "snowbird" -resort-community (golf course, tennis courts, and beaches all in a gated community) and apparently a high rental demand. The rental agency is making this seem easy. We'll see...but I'm optimistic. Thanks for your input and cautionary comment.

@Seeker3CO My apologies. Very unprofessional of me. No insult intended; I just watched “Star Wars” myself...and they make it seem like inter-Solar-system travel is “a piece of cake”...but the latest physics suggests it’s not only unlikely, it’s laughable. You challenged my hypothesis..I’m simply refuting it...perhaps the comment was unnecessary. Sorry...and if you want to imagine the reality of “Star Wars” as possible...I understand... Having said that - "Because of the vastness of those distances, practical interstellar travel based on known physics would need to occur at a high percentage of the speed of light, allowing for significant travel times, at least decades to perhaps millennia or longer.” - Mauldin, John H. (May 1992). Prospects for interstellar travel. Published for the American Astronautical Society by Univelt. Interstellar travel. As a footnote; I was wrong about the nearest earth-like planet being 80 LY away. it’s only 40...so....travelling at 1/100 the speed of light, 186 miles per second...you could reach there in just 4000 years....(LOL!). Also the loan is comparatively small...and I have assets (which are diminishing) to back the loan...but thanks for your concern. I’m a little more optimistic than you. I foresee a lot of folk getting immunities. I foresee a vaccine out by late fall (which might save Trump his presidency). I foresee a serious recovery...but I could be wrong.

LOL!!). But I digress.... I love what you said about Bill and Linda being good examples to our progeny; but Scott's got a good point; the rich of our past were clever but evil and corrupt. in the past the rich got there by doing evil, corrupt, and environmentally degrading things; the rich of the past 200 years all got there by making horrible weapons or figuring ut ways to get fossil fuel out of the ground and burned faster and cheaper. Look at the mansions of the world; who built them - and how they got their money....it'll make you ill. Bill earned his wealth - as Elon Musk and others of his genre - by being computer savvy....but still charging outrageous prices for simple things. Who knows...maybe some day we'll all lose respect for those who get insanely rich...they seem " philanthropic" but we don't know this for sure. Thank you both for your input!

Late for nuance, but ban patriarchal religions like Mormonism, Catholicism, and any like them from interfering with a woman’s right to choose or to be informed. Imprison anyone that suggests there’s anything immoral about family planning and burn down their church. 💋
Robecology replies on Apr 23, 2020:
Burning down churches is likely to get a counter reaction of staunch support. Right now most religions are slowing in their membership growth - but sadly, they're all still growing. The single biggest factor to slow them won't be church burning or other radical or hostile acts...it'll be the promotion of education. Two tech tools...the internet(computers) and portable (cell) phones - have rapidly spread info - and misinformation - throughout the world ...but please; not even sarcastic suggestions or "just joking' ideas of burning houses of worship. relative to isolation, what lines do you not cross that others do, and what lines might you cross that others might object to?
Robecology replies on Apr 19, 2020:
It's a good question. I used to envy the aggressive guys who would walk up to strange women and attempt to "befriend" them with wise-cracks, sarcasm, flattery, etc. We called them - "Rough boys" -not any more. I've had probably more than my share of relationships. I've sought them out in personal ads (pre-internet) and was probably a pioneer on many dating sites... I can proudly say I never had the "rough boy" approach. I've always been a "gentleman" -but it appears those days are over. I'm melancholic about it; There seems to be real advantages to living alone. But there's lonely times when I do feel isolated. So to answer your question; I guess I've never crossed those lines that the "rough boys" did....and - in reflection - glad I didn't.
Pretty much, lol

@Freedompath That's a sweeping generalization - and not true from what I've learned. China did use the "1 child per family rule" very strictly for several decades. I'm on a "LinkedIn" email chat account with a successful businessman there...and have seen film about their "1 child per family" policy decades ago. They are years ahead of us in Solar and wind energy. Their hydro power is far more advanced than ours. A few years ago they were opening a coal plant every week...now they're closing them almost as quickly. And I've loved Chinese food and takeout decades before I like MacDonalds. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_China https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renewable_energy_in_China
