To give a voice to the alleged conservatives of America/the world who liked the Agnostic.com format but didn't like the challenges? Are they really afraid of losing the Trump regime? Are they really afraid of "Woke-ism"? BTW; "Wokeism" is their/his/her name for the alleged strategy of those of us still here - which, by definition, is a "belief" system that no true Agnostic ascribes to). Stay. Be a voice of reason. You gain nothing by resigning and going silent; and we lose ground. Don't quit.

I think you're reading in to it. Living up to your avatar...being "creative". If you read the rather verbose tirade from the OP, it says, basically, that he considers those on Agnostic.com are, in general, suffering a devotion to being "woke" or awakened or hyper-aware - he even coins the name "Wokeism"...implying a religious fanaticism to being "woke". Then he goes on (rambles on, IMO) to suggest he's proven his theories with studies. I don't see it...but if you are #religulous and/or follow Qanaon, and/or are a Trump-ster....you might. I think this is where the "Dark"/aka Conspiracy theories start raising their ugly heads...that this "wokeism" is a responsibility of the billionaire George Soros who intends to dominate the world with "wokeism" and end religious dominance. And on and on, ad nauseum. The actual person who wrote this and started both this website and Slug.com is a mystery. I challenge them to make themselves public. We don't know who (S)he is...or if there's more than one...or if the one who started Slug is still an admin of Agnostic.com ...and they love the mystery and unknown factor of it all...it's what makes their "dark" web dark... So Could Slug.com be a scam? It sure does have a following...but...na.... And since many of us read that it has a similar format to agnostic.com we joined to find out more. But I don't think any of us were "forced" to join. Many of us join to "know" who our opponents are; what groups they like, what's their modus operandi, etc. I don't feel any force nor pressure to join....I signed up...perused the groups....found them not to my liking...and haven't participated in them. We all know the experience of trying to talk to a conservative/anti-progressive....it's pretty much like banging your head against the wall.

No apologies needed. The "the responsible use of free speech " does matter. There is such a thing as "trolling". There is such a thing as hate-speak. To me that's generally an irresponsible use of free speech. Here's my take on the Intellectual Dark Web; they're generally not intellectual, and they define "dark" as profane, Obsessive-compulsive, secretive. I think they are frightened; their racist, myth-based, religious based thinking is being proven to be be wrong more and more every day. Their numbers are dwindling. I'm a little confused by the double negative; but I'll try to add my 2 cents... Are we in favor - or not in favor - of men having the option to refuse support a woman expecting a child? This is tough. It will depend on the state and nation where the child care issue, the conditions of your relationship with the woman at the time of impregnation...and the condition of the relationship now. It often comes down to personal values...of the couples involved and the judges/courts, if they get involved. In general...decades ago it was more tolerable to hear about a man impregnating a woman then bailing on responsibility...that seems to have become less tolerable. We hear, more often, of the need to be responsible for birthing a child. The world is growing by over a hundred more births, than deaths, per minute....it's generally irresponsible to even talk about not being responsible for a future child. If it's you and you're looking for a strong defense...we'd have to know who "enticed" who. We'd have to know your income and relationship status; were you/are you married? To the same woman? Did you impregnate another while married to someone else? As you see there's lots we don't know....so it's a "loaded" question.

I'm the victim of a snoop and I don't know how to fix it. Maybe you guys can advise? I was cleaning up for a visit from the ladyfriend. I had to go get her because she's recovering from surgery. I dumped the bedroom trash in to the main trash - but forgot to take the main trash out. She snooped and found a woman's sanitary pad! The problem is I have not been with any women. None have been in my apartment. I said "it's probably yours" and left it at that.... ...but her snooping made her trust me even less than she does already. Solutions? Suggestions? Sad for her...but maybe it's best left alone?

It's real. In this time of our lives...we meet more people, we become different at a faster pace. 100 years ago our ancestors had decades shorter lives, and far fewer distractions. Relationships lasted longer out of necessity to depend on eachother. Not so much the case today. Alvin Toffler wrote a book in the 70's - Future Shock - that said pretty much the same thing. So I can only suggest you (or your friend...or anyone who reads this) adhere to the strategy of Ken Keyes Jr..." hold on tightly - let go lightly". You don't want to "blame" him or talk negatively about him...you both just became rapidly different. He is still the father of your child. Let him do that with as much indifference as you can. There's love, hate and indifference. Your goal is to become "indifferent" as quickly and easily as you can.

The energy boost is subtle. It's the reason I switched to half-decaf a few years back...too much energy too early in the day caused a "hyper-ness" that left me uncomfortable...and left me with a crashing lethargy by late morning through mid-afternoon. The half decaf leveled that out.

"Chirps" is getting close to making the ideal insect based food....ground up...no sign of insect parts...high protein...snack-based nutrition. Now I only wonder about the price tag. All "high protein" foods from greek yogurt to deli meats come with a price boost if they can brag "high protein"...so that will be a determining factor. I'm impressed, also, that they were found in a rather popular food store-chain. It's with mixed feelings that I say ...it's the future trend for foods. Insects are easy to raise. It's logical. The AutoPilot is a conservative, overly cautious PITA....I use it on uncrowded stretches of turnpike...that's about it. It breaks if cars are far away. It finds imaginary speed limits and slows down for no clear reason. If you want to be a passenger in the driver's seat..AP is for you. if you like to drive your car....AP is too much....

Update July 30th. I siged on to a Rental company - Coldwell Banker Paradise in Ft. Pierce....(PM me if you want contact details) and they sent a person to evaluate the rental rate. It received a 3 star (out of 1-5) rating...but I'm closing in on a 4 star. I already had the popcorn ceiling replaced with "knock-down".. .I installed ceiling fans in the 2 BR's and LR, and just bought an induction cooksurface range and side-by-side-water-ice-in-door refrigerator. To go to a 5 star I need granite counters in the kitchen and a furniture update...and I'm working on that. Sorry about the image rotations -this has been a problem at Agnostic since May.

There's such a thing as excessive water...but that's extremely rare. It often occurs in marathon runners who are hydrating excessively. That being said...it's better to err on the the side of excess than not enough. Our bodies are mostly water. 80-90%. It carries good stuff to cells, bad stuff out. Excessive keeps things moving. Not enough slows the process. I won't google the research....you can do that....but I've known folk who are suffering - from dialysis patients to folks who died because they didn't hydrate enough. So go with the excess. IMO.

I'm glad you differentiate between "trolling" and debating. I've said what you've said - often. Did you know that folk don't even comprehend where the term came from? It's not the mythical deformed creature who lives under bridges. It comes from the verb "to troll" or fish using bait that is easily taken...often by "suckers". A Troller will throw out "bait" (absurd comments that are easilly arguable) and wait for the "sucker" to bite. The key is - as you suggest - belittling. Debaters never do that. Trollers and those who are "caught" by trollers do. Name calling. Those who've experienced debate groups call it "ad hominen attacks. Here's a guide. I keep mine handy and refer to it often.
