I'm glad you differentiate between "trolling" and debating. I've said what you've said - often. Did you know that folk don't even comprehend where the term came from? It's not the mythical deformed creature who lives under bridges. It comes from the verb "to troll" or fish using bait that is easily taken...often by "suckers". A Troller will throw out "bait" (absurd comments that are easilly arguable) and wait for the "sucker" to bite. The key is - as you suggest - belittling. Debaters never do that. It's not the workout...it's the intake. We eat at least 3 times a day...exercise is just not as common, nor repetitive. The trick is hunger....and eating less. Let a little hunger in to your life every day. It's also a key to self control and self discipline...if you can tolerate a little hunger you'll lose the weight. Gotta be tough living in New Orleans...great food temptations there! Good luck!

Glad you are working out at home. I'm convinced the gym is just another social gathering place...if you're serious about fitness you work out at home, by yourself. They're an absolute must-have - and cooking down the huge amount of leftover tomatoes to a sauce or paste - followed by putting them in jars - then pressure-cooking the loaded jars to "preserve' them - is an absolute must-do.

I don't think any person intentionally "strings several love interests along at the same time without them knowing" ....what has happened to me is I developed an interest, then another one happens along....then another. If you say to them that "you're pursuing someone else" then they quit and stop communicating... So in my opinion/strategy - I avoid being excessively "honest" and don't "confess" that you're involved in others. It's not "stringing" anyone along. It's being naturally friendly and reserving your privacy. Don't get sick. It's life. Pursue others yourself. Play a similar game. Or...if you're not happy - or "feeling sick" with being "involved" in more than one at a time... Politely but honestly confront him/her and let them know you're monogamous...and that you won't be involved in anyone who's "pursuing others" at the same time. Then you don't feel sick...you develop your own confidence through your own standards and honesty. (S)he might respect that.
