Please; start by posting more pics of you in better lighting...and for goodness sake, smile? I looked at your profile recently; too many pics of you looking too somber, too "sober" too serious. Post more smiles!!. More images of you having fun! If you project a cold, depressed, sad image....that will result in a lot of women not even interested. @JackPedigo Of course the bible's not a good source for science history. You're preaching to the choir. But what I'm saying is that all paleo-scientists are very vague about how they get their samples age-dated. It's very hard to even find a source on the web; I've tried many times. I challenge you to do so now! Search "how to get a geologic sample age-dated". I'll bet you that you won't be able to reply with a specific address and phone number. They're just very vague about how it's done! Again; my point is that when...not if, when....someone comes out with a fast, easy, relatively inexpensive field-operable (semi-portable) radiometric age-dating tool...then the #reliligulous will be done.

@edfitz French pressers are fun...but old fashioned. The advantage in using them is that you never have to (and you shouldn't) boil the water...just make it close to boiling...that preserves the dissolved oxygen in the water and rounds out the flavor. I have had a few; but they sit in the shelf, collecting dust....they're fun and charming...but not efficient. I prefer a drip machine that uses the pressure of water boiling in a tube to push the water on to the grounds (so technically it's just reached boiling). I have two pots; one is glass-lined and keeps the coffee hotter longer. The other is stainless-lined and is good if I have company; of if some prefer full decaf or full-strength caffeinated. I alternate between a paper filter and a gold filter depending on how smooth or rough I want my coffee; the paper filters out micro-particles....and leaves a slightly smoother taste then the gold mesh filter. I also blend decaf with regular strength - and alternate flavored (hazelnut) with not flavored whole ground beans. I find little, if any difference between fresh ground and store ground.

Sometimes I like liquid creamer, sometimes powdered. sometimes black....sometimes different types of sugars....but that's it with coffee. To brew it at home costs far less than to buy a cup out... But food? different story. Some restaurants make stuff that I just don't have the time, skills nor patience for...and thus have to go to the restaurant. And for $15-30 you get a meal that's had at least a $5-20 investment plus a good hour of labor put in. to it...to me that makes dining out for food far more valuable...and making home brewed more important to me...

Hence my suggestion via Elon Musk.... I don't see Robotic sex having any suggestion of reduced reproduction. Reduced sexual repro will have to come with the wisdom of family planning - which in turn comes with less religion. I give that some optimism; I foresee that happening in a few decades. Robotic sex might be inviting to a handful of ultra rich in decades to come; but I doubt it'll have any significance in the near future.

Robecology replies on May 27, 2019:
Obviously, you have not read the link I shared. My point is simple; He's working in many ways to drag the many conservatives of the church, kicking and screaming, in to the 21st century. I'm just suggesting we cut him some slack. On becoming Pope, Francis set a new tone by setting up his headquarters in a humble guesthouse for priests rather than the grand apostolic palace โ€” a gesture of humility that carried with it an implied criticism of past excesses. He also did away with the system of automatically giving a cardinalโ€™s hat to bishops in certain posts. Conservatives have been irked by some of his more liberal stances. In 2015, Francis ordered every parish to host two refugee families. And last week, in his most explicit acceptance of homosexuality yet, he told a gay Catholic that God had made him that way and that his sexuality โ€œdoes not matter.โ€ So - on one hand you're right; But to say he's "the best among the worst" "Who is we" and "I don't respect him at all"... Is showing me and the world your intolerance of the #religulous, IMO... so I only feel sorry for all 3 of you.

Atheist author Adam Lee defines freethought as thinking which is independent of revelation, tradition, established belief, and authority,[6] and considers it as a "broader umbrella" than atheism "that embraces a rainbow of unorthodoxy, religious dissent, skepticism, and unconventional thinking."[7] The basic summarizing statement of the essay The Ethics of Belief by the 19th-century British mathematician and philosopher William Kingdon Clifford is: "It is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence."[8] The essay became a rallying cry for freethinkers when published in the 1870s, and has been described as a point when freethinkers grabbed the moral high ground.[9] Clifford was himself an organizer of freethought gatherings, the driving force behind the Congress of Liberal Thinkers held in 1878.

My point is also that we can't counter hate with hate. I don't respect the fear of feminism any more than I respect the anti-men-in-general slams... There's many of us men who have been quietly feminist for decades...and it hurts to see both sides raising their ugly heads. I suggest you PM the OP and ask him his interpretation of it...and if he truly supports the "fear of feminism" that you ask him to take it down?

For anyone without Facebook: Imagine this scenario..... -- Congress opens impeachment hearings Demands documents and testimony -- Trump refuses. -- Supreme court orders him to do it. -- He cites Andrew Jackson and says enforce your own decision. -- Congress demands that the witnesses show...

If the Capitol police and the S.S. refuse to step forward, I see the job falling on to the National Guard and/or the military police. They would give him fair warning...give him a time to appear before he'd be "detained" or "taken in to custody". I doubt he'd accept that; but he might push it that far..
Like trying on shit from 30 yrs ago. Not good.

Extremes of size...do they, and how do they, affect intimacy for you?
Robecology comments on Apr 1, 2019:
I'm a "height-challenged" guy who's been labeled "Napoleonic" and felt like I've missed out on many relationships. I know for a fact that short men are more "challenged" as teachers by agressive students (usuallly male) than most. I know for a fact that taller people are better paid... So ...
Robecology replies on May 22, 2019:
@Cast1es Shorter women are much more socially acceptable than shorter men. I won't research it now; but it definitely results (for men at least) In lower pay and less opportunities.

Hi First post. I have found that taller women will not even consider me. I put in a different profile and hight of 6.2 and the messages flooded in. (I dropped the profile the next day) I don't get it. thoughts? thanks scout
Robecology replies on May 22, 2019:
Deal with it. I'm far shorter...5' 6"....have had plenty of relationships. There's plenty of women who prefer shorter men...and it's more the #religulous ones who want a "daddy" figure - far bigger/taller than they are....so accept your fate...quit complaining.
It's been flooding something fierce here for several weeks.

Slide your cursor over the poster name to see where they're from. I just learned that myself.
