I'm not sure if I follow you about the paper getting soft...or using paper filters for up to a week....never heard of that before. I hear/feel you about the quantity issue; I was lucky to find an old steel thermos-style (never worked well) coffee carafe that fits the standard Cuisinart drip machine with glass thermos (that I guard carefully; they don't make replacements for them any more...I check the thrift shops periodically for more of them).

Good question. You have to share "catch phrases" with them...counting to 10....deep breathing....clever memes to post on your bulletin board. Have a structured plan for you class. make it clear what you're doing each day. I kept an "agenda" posted on a corner of the white-board....that they had to copy at the start of each week. It included HW; and they got bonus points (added to their tests) for turning it in early in the week (+3 for Tuesday, etc). The more organized and structured your program is...the easier students will settle in to a "patience" mode.

I've read up on this. The answer is simple. Obama wants ANY democrat to win. If he backs one now...the others will feel neglected and sad...and if Obama's early -backed candidate bombs and fails to get the nod in July...then his endorsement of an "also-ran" will be laughed at. When I took the "rich homes on the water" tour in. Ft Lauderdale...I came to a shocking realization; those rich folk were more stressed out...more just "not well" or "not happy" people than you ordinary folk. Lots of "smokers". Lots of people "embarrassed" that "ordinary folk" were touring to "look at them". I came to the realization that being rich is the result of an "addiction" to greed - and those "addicts" were not happy people. Now greed isn't a bad addiction. Nothing to snort, smoke, nor shoot. Clever greed addicts don't even have to use their own money. Your family loves the greed addiction, but fear/loath the drug addiction. But it is an addiction. You do suffer "withdrawal symptoms" if you're suddenly "without" your fix of cash flow. So I've learned not to count to a billion, nor envy billionaires...or even millionaires. They're suffering.

You are putting out a lot of mixed signals...like you don't want to date...but you do. You sound afraid of "exposing" yourself to the public. But that's the only way you're going to avoid ghosting. Put yourself out there. Post lots of pics. Be honest and open....talk about your good and not-so-good features. That way you'll be contacted by those who aren't in a hurry to meet. You're sharing who you are with images and a detailed bio....so this will allow more selectivity. Say that you insist on taking your time. Warn potentials that "being in a hurry is a turn-off" - then you'll get the patient fellas/gals/dates who like you for the images and bio you post. Otherwise with few/no images. and a cranky bio...then of course potentials will want to get to know you right away to see if you're a waste of time...or not... ...and these are just the types you don't want...right?

I don't do that on FB...I'd say it's 90% political commentary, 8% Tesla stuff, and less than 2% personal - what someone did/ate/had a birthday, etc.

Bill Clinton fell from grace. He cooperated with the investigation; and despite his greatness as a president....it's this behavior that we will remember him by. Why can't we apply the same standards to the far more sexist, racist, hater in the White House today? Why aren't these alleged victims of Trump being heard? Why are their messages being ignored? Something is wrong, here.
