The man is a genius.
Test drive a Tesla...and you'll get it.
Then discover his SpaceX recyclable rockets. Then explore his solar shingles. The man is a major player for the salvation of humanity....so sad that this "joke" keeps getting aired.

Microbreweries are springing up all over the place with tasty beers that have a unique flavor.
They are still relatively bitter (I found that a Mango brew needed a touch of sugar or honey - but that's me)...and still brewed with hops and malt...and the low alcohol gives you a mild buzz, as well.

It was much broader,” Schiff said. “It connoted the breach of the public trust in a way where you’re offering official acts for some personal or political reason, not in the nation’s interest.”
To prove bribery, Schiff said, you have to show that the president was “soliciting something of value,” which Schiff thinks multiple witnesses before his committee have testified to in private.

I noticed the price of cows milk dropping...and dropping. I see why they've filed for bankruptcy. Sad.

And dammit...it's so rare, so hard to achieve.

It's the main root. It's the trunk of the tree for our occupation on earth...and it's growing - births minus deaths - at 158 more per minute. 227,000 per day. A million every 4.5 days. 83 million more - births than deaths...per year.
...and that rate's been slowing since it peaked in the 1980's. But at this slow rate decline, we won't reach ZPG until the end of this century; when we're likely to peak at between10 and 11 billion.
More people = fewer resources per person = more competition for less and less.
And more people need more energy; and the fossil fuel consortium is blind to climate change....so they will keep pushing their product.
....and the sad part is we know what family planning is. We just don't apply it.
Please; read and fact check me; this is a great site with a sense of humor (kisses per second, cokes per second, etc) check it out.

But double the cost of a real meat burger.
The "meat" is a bit mushy, a bit bland...no strong "beefy" mouth feel nor flavor....but a decent meat/high protein/vegan substitute. The price is $7.99 (compared to half that for real beef) so as usual,, vegan/veggie folk will have to pay a premium to avoid meat....but kudos to Burger King for getting nationals production of a meat substitute off the ground.
I've substantially reduced my beef/pork/lamb intake...and I know that 10-20% of the animal production for meat is adding methane to the environment - which is 20X more potent than CO2...so the more we boycott meat eating the better for our own personal health as well as our environment's

After Kasparov retired, he devoted his time to politics and writing.
He formed the United Civil Front movement, and joined as a member of The Other Russia, a coalition opposing the administration and policies of Vladimir Putin.
In 2008, he announced an intention to run as a candidate in that year's Russian presidential race, but failure to find a sufficiently large rental space to assemble the number of supporters that is legally required to endorse such a candidacy led him to withdraw.
Kasparov blamed "official obstruction" for the lack of available space.
Although he is widely regarded in the West as a symbol of opposition to Putin, he was barred from the presidential ballot, as the political climate in Russia makes it difficult for opposition candidates to organize.

“Dependent” is the adjective meaning needing something or someone else for support: Many adults are dependent upon coffee to help them wake up in the morning. “Dependant” is a noun used for a person (such as a child) who relies upon others for care: The parents must sign for a dependant to be able to have the surgery."

Simple solution, as he said in the 7th minute; we have to get better at recycling.
This is very anti solar panel, Lirhium batteries, and technology. No discussion of the rare elements used in Fossil fuel mining and production...but lots of scary news about Solar energy and Lithium ion batteries.
Overall good science...and very fact-filled. We need to know their sources. They quote no sources.

We have lots of huge "Golden Orb" spiders around here in Florida...but this kid just grabbed one in the bushes...and showed the class how "tame" they were.
He explained - to all of us - that most spiders will bite..but only if "trapped" or "compressed" - if they get down your shirt...they bite. If you squash them in your hands...they bite...but ordinarily they're quite complacent....and their main diet is insects like flies and mosquitoes!

f you value that isolated, back-to-nature view, you'll vote.
I'm glad you were honest enough to admit you didn't - but please remember; it's your best voice to support continuing "the life" in the lower image. Right now the EPA is being stripped of provisions that took years to develop. The greedy pro-Republican/pro-rape-the-environment/anti-conservationists need to be voted out of office.
Please - participate in future voting.

The lyrics give away a "bad boy" who "loved them then left them alone""....due to sloppy match-ups...no doubt...but it was a catchy tune...
Fooled Around and Fell in Love
Elvin Bishop
I must have been through about a million girls
I'd love 'em and I'd leave 'em alone
I didn't care how much they cried, no sir
Their tears left me cold as a stone
But then I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love
It used to be when I'd see a girl that I liked
I'd get out my book and write down her name
But when the grass got a little greener on the other side
I'd just tear out that page
But then I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love
Since I met you baby
I fooled around and fell in love
I fooled around and fell in love
Free, on my own that's the way I used to be
But since I met you baby love's got a hold on me
Ooh it's got a hold on me now, hey
I can't let go of you baby
I can't stop lovin' you now, hey
'Cause I fooled around, fooled around, fooled around
Fooled around, fooled around, fooled around, fell in love
Fooled around, fooled around, yes I did
Fooled around, fooled around, fooled around, I fell in love
Fooled around, fooled around, fooled around, fell in love

Amazon was in the low 200's 5 years ago. Now they're up to $1700. I'd jump in soon...in a few years you can sell the stock and buy a Tesla with the profits.

My point is this; a good scientist wants to be proven wrong. (S)he welcomes new evidence which disputes their original theories. Even Leakey wrote a book about it.

I love Sanders and Warren. But it's clear that their views are not accepted by the right, nor the centrists.
...and if we don't get overwhelming voter turnout showing intense solidarity for a democratic candidate, then Trump will win.

If you want healthier plants try "miracle-grow" or any good strong fertilizer...
Plants make their own "sugars" and will do so more easily of they're provided with an abundance of nitrogen, Potassium, and Phosphorous...(notice; all minerals....no organic molecules in them) - the famous "threesome" in all good fertilizers - when you see those numbers on any fertilizer bag; that's the percentages of these minerals that are in the fertilizers.

It's called making a neural pathway.
Just like if you run through a tall grass field once, you barely notice a path. If you run through it twice, the path is much clearer?
That's how our brain works.
It really helps to "take notes" or write stuff down...or even note it on your "phone" (on the calendar, or in "notes") even if you leave the list! You've just doubled your memory time and detail by doing so. (You can probably tell I'm a retired teacher).

Did the president's men take him out to shut him up? Possibly.
But not likely.

If you love historical fiction...I have a "must-read" for you.
"The Egyptian" by Mika Waltari.
This book...and the story it builds around (a child found adrift in "the reeds of the nile" is raised to become a "healer"...ends up deeply involved in "healing" the Pharoah...and discovering that he was a likely pharoah himself"....but with a real historic timeline...leading through Ramses and Tutankhamon...
I've read it 3 times...
I've loaned out copies that were never returned...
but I've bought new ones....
