I honestly don't look at "greed" as an intentional "evil". Remember; the concept of 'evil' is #religulous....us agnostics see. no evidence for genetic or "devil' induced evil. It just so happens that right now there's still quick money to be had with Fossil fuels, fossil fuel cars, drugs, and war equipment. They look at the poor/third world dying off as a "necessary consequence" for our direction, and abuses. The #religulous call it "god's mysterious way".... But greed is not only an addiction - it's the perfect addiction. Much better than drugs. Nothing to "take/shoot/snort/smoke" No chemical attack on your body...just a risk with finances....and if you're clever it's others' money. Your family hates you and cries for you if you're a drug addict. If you're a money addict they applaud you. And the better you are at it, the more food, better cars. better adventures, better sex, etc you get. But it is an addiction. Probably more deadly than a drug addiction. If you get good at it....the increased "things" get boring - and you want more. And if you suddenly lose it; the complications for big money loss send many to suicide. There's two sides to the "feeding the troll" debate. Sometimes folk are genuinely curious - so they ask questions. These are often viewed by those "afraid of being questioned" as trolls....whereas they might be just seeking info. Some of us like to do battle with trolls...if only to perhaps make them see what they're doing! I'm often accused of "trolling" on conservative pages here and on FB...but that's only because most conservatives are too weak or their arguments are too lame for them to fairly debate....so they call me "troll" or announce "don't feed the trolls" and they quit... -but you and I know they've lost the debate. Let's define what an internet troll is? If you go back to the root word of troll...it's to cast bait that's tempting in order to get a bite and a fight...in fishing terms. So to me, it's someone who wants to get someone upset by throwing out preposterous, yet tempting, arguments. Then there's folks who are genuinely curious (say, the religious who come on here to get questions answered)...and I feel that some who read their alleged "troll' remarks are afraid to debate them because they're 'weak" - so they call them trolls and quit. I say - don't fear the troll. Engage in good, clean debates....if it's a true troll they'll give up...or come back with the lowest form of debate, the "name call" or "ad-hominem attacks. I recommend you keep this guide on your desktop; it helps me separate the "trolls" from the "curious".
