You hit, once again, on the issue that I keep bringing up....the need to raise the bar. And I thank you for elaborating your POV. I concur; we get nowhere by "Belittling and berating"....yet that seems to be coming normal. It's the reason I spend a lot more time here on is going deeper in to the gutter with "belittling and berating"....and it solves fact it seems to harden the POV and makes someone more defensive. Being rude creates problems; it doesn't solve them. I recommend you keep this guide on your desktop, as I do. If ever you start an interaction with someone who "stoops" to name-calling, share this pyramid.

Robecology comments on May 1, 2019:
You shared with us a world that very few of us in America are familiar with - and as a male in America, I appreciate you sharing this. It seems that there's still men, world-wide, who share this primitive view of women. We also know that the more "religious" a region is, the more aggressive the males are. I'm glad you got away from it with relatively little harm. I'm sad that other men who supported you, in particular your "Turkish friend" there said "we will take care of this" and the man who allegedly was rough and crude with you disappeared. Perhaps this Turkish man (Alok) was working to gain equality for women - and to gain your trust, as well. I hope he was successful in both counts....I just hope the aggressive man's disappearance didn't involve his loss of life. I'm sure for every hostile, aggressive man you meet, there are many kind, and truly gentle men; even in the foreign land you came from. But thanks to your story we all have a clue that life in many foreign nations is quite alien and foreign to again, thank you for sharing. Let's hope that the people of lands other than America learn from your honest story.
Not going up that creek.

I emailed him/her/them about it....and they said "she had some content flagged and it surpassed a maximum count". So I asked them to "please make a public policy clear so we know our limits"?. We don't want a random judgment. I also asked... What's the "maximum count"? Shouldn't we be warned if we're getting close to a "flagged content maximum"? ....I hope to get an answer soon...and will share, of course. post edit; (Tues 8:15 EST) Admin wrote back; ' yes I posted it in the (community) senate and adjusted the code. If you (not necessarily you Sassygirl, but members in general) have something to say, let's keep it constructive/positive. Attack the issue, not the person. I get the thrust of the Admin's POV...and I've cut back on my posting on FB because the rude/arrogant/nasty content never seemed to fact, it seems to be increasing there. So let's not let that happen here. Keep your content "un-flag-able" If you know what I mean.... I'll even share something I've been sharing at a few other sites....a good debate guide....

A hit piece in The Guardian saying that cannabis is addicting.
Robecology comments on Apr 29, 2019:
I haven't read it; but I've seen this issue brought up for decades. I've used, off an on, for over 50 years. If we're going to move to legalization, we have to admit; There's users, and there's abusers. There's occasional riders on the Cannaibis rollercoaster....and there's folks that are riding it every waking minute of the day. So to concur with the Guardian; hell yes there's addicts. ...and yes; there's those who have died from it. Let me explain. You don't expect, if they had a heart attack or stroke while stoned out of their gourd, to put down on the death certificate "ultimate trip...died totally freakout of his life"? Duh...lots of winking at the funeral...but cause of death? Stroke or heart attack. No cannabis mentioned. But having said that; that's all the more reason for legalization! Regulate the dose. Let users know if it's 3% "proof" or 200%.....and you "heads" know exactly what I'm talking about. ...and if you bought it from the friend of a you really know the source? Do you really know it's straight cannabis and not cut with all sorts of things? Do you know how much pesticide was used? Herbicide? Of course you don't....unless it's legalized. Yea; grow your own. And that's a good solution. But again...How strong is it? How do I "measure" the strength? Is it Beer pot or rot-gut (or rot-lung) moonshine pot? We don't know. Legalization will fix that. Then it's a tax source. Colorado's already made close to a billion bucks (see article, below). Then it's income for thousands. Then it's less/no jail time for the public flaunters and fools who blow smoke in officer friendly's face. Then it's millions saved avoiding arrest and persecution. Let's admit it. There's plenty of abusers. But the abuse gets less if it's legalized. The panicked over-doser can seek medical help without fear of arrest. It's time.

B & W bird...a Magpie?
Does feeding wild birds prevent them from doing their job of eating insects?
Robecology comments on Apr 29, 2019:
#1. Birds that are seed feeders are rarely, if ever carnivorous. Their beaks give their diet preferences away. I've not seen any bird feeder suppliers supply insects; although you can get meal worms for lizards. #2. We've taken over most of their habitat; and we're growing in population (world wide) by 158 more births, than deaths, per minute! So we kind of owe it to wildlife to feed them. #3. Insectivorous birds are rare; the small flycatchers (obviously) the various woodpeckers, the Martins (that we build the big houses for) the Robins and even starlings are good insect hunters. #4. There's few omnivores that eat both plants and animals....the hummingbird are not just sap and nectar consumers - they eat lots of insects on the wing. The Bluejay is very adaptable; sort of the "Raccoon" of the bird world. The starling has not only proven to be diet-adaptable; but he's an agressive nest robber. Putting a mirror inside of any nest boxes you build will scare off starlings because they are so hostile that if they see another starling (themselves) in the mirror they run...So remember that if you build nest boxes!

You wrote "I'm interested to younger women to making the deffrent fun foreplay tesing and SEX in life".... Robecology comments on Apr 28, 2019:
It's a higher level of being. It's very cool if you can be happy with yourself...that in itself is an accomplishment. But to be happy while sharing...learning to give and take...lead and be lead...that's just not as easy. Period. I applaud those who act truly happy being together. The problem arises that it seems that too many couples are just not happy - they plod along, make snide remarks about eachother...tolerate eachother....and don't do anything to fix it....or get out of it. Unfortunately; it seems to be getting more and more rare that you meet or know a truly happy couple. Those couples...and I'm afraid I've met many...are NOT in that higher state of being.

In general, I've noticed... -class sizes got bigger; I started with groups of 20+...finished with groups approaching 40+ -requirements for hands-on experiences (in science, at least) grew -parent participation went from supportive to antagonistic -administration support went from supportive to antagonistic. -parent communication improved with the advent of personal/cell phones. -equipment and texts got better....then the computer revolution put a crimp in the textbook production....some say for better, some say for worse. -we went from blackboard to whiteboard to video, big screens and laptop screens. -we went from mimeographing (remember the smell? - I do!) to xeroxing. -we went through the textbook projector to the overhead projector to the smartscreen -we went from 16mm film projectors to Small screen TV's to large screen TV's. Hi Folks, w I've noticed lots of angnst with on line dating, even just on line chatting.
Robecology comments on Apr 27, 2019:
You can't beat on line dating....and if you're 100% honest...there's far less "angst" than going out and trying to meet and make friends and potential lovers at random. I was single in the 70's for a few years...again in the 80's...and again in the 90's. !st time...the bar scene was the only way to meet folk. I met the mother of my only son that way. In the 80's the "personals" were working...remember the song "Pina Colada"....that was straight out of the 80's dating style. By the 90's the internet dating sites were '06 I met my present lover on a dating site. We're long on....and off....and on...and it works for both of us. On line dating has made it much, much easier to lay out who you are, what you are looking for; at least IMO. The 'angst" comes when you decide to be're "sort of" single, you "appear" to be a certain age, so you "fudge" the data a bit... height, weight, age, etc. .so of course angst creeps in. But.....The angst disappears when you're completely, blatantly honest. You have a bio - which can be one sentence or many paragraphs. If you're serious about sharing who you are you post plenty of pics; and good ones. You're much more honest/upfront/revealing with on line posts than just random meeting folk. Random don't know their age, their marital status, their interests, their careers. They might like the same "bar" or "library" or "event" as you...but you're taking the "player/gambler route, and not the serious wanting-to-find-a-friend-companion route. I'd suspect there's far more angst with NOT going to dating sites on line and trying it your way. Now...if you're at a stage in your life where you're just not interested in dating or finding a partner/friend/soulmate...then I understand. But I think you're fooling yourself about the angst issue.
Nothing dramatic but isn't she cute?

Robecology comments on Apr 27, 2019:
I visited there for a few days, a few years ago. on 4th of July weekend. Great fireworks up and down the beach. Great dining there; Reasonable waterfront hotel accommodations. I bought a couple of T shirts that tickled my funny bone from a waterfront restaurant there, Uncle Ernies...
one of this is keep circulating around my back patio , and , he even brought his cousins and in laws...

A few of these in the garden should scare them off;
A few pictures of what is blooming in my garden

I think you should consider hiding that utility box with a couple of shrubs...perhaps expand the border of the mini-rock-wall to include it...then put a shrub in front of it? I even covered one of mine with a hollow pedestal...then put a Sundial on top...the utility people never complained! (I've moved in 2015...but I still have pics on my old computer...ask me for them if interested...)

More "erotic" than "sexy-classy"...not much class in that pic...though she's a well endowed, fit woman...
I'm still trying to figure out what the massive trees planted around my home are .
Robecology comments on Apr 27, 2019:
Can you photograph (with flash and good lighting) the interior of that large round front of the roof? I'd be interested in the way the curved shape was attained. That's a rare roof line. BTW....if your question is still about the plants, we need close-ups of the tree, the bark, and the leaves...even the branching pattern would help us help you with the ID.

One of my all time favorites from Ghandi; and the reason I bought this book. "I like your Jesus, but I don't like your Christians. They do not act like Jesus"
A follow up to my earlier negative opinion about the stupidness of kissing.
