I've had moderate luck with it....but only with the "free" ones. POF, OKCupid, even the now defunct "AmericanSingles" (now called "spark") worked...I'm still seeing (and often happily not seeing) a "lady-friend" I met on a dating site 13 years ago and who lives a good distance away. The first two even let you communicate for free...or did when I used them, years ago. The pay sites are full of tricks...they keep the hottie (both male and female) images on even though they've left the site for months/years. And (I'm guessing) they even post fake ones - I've had zero luck with years on match, eharmony and other paid sites. But having said that, my son met and married a woman he met on eharmony....so go figure..... Recommendation; Use this as a dating site. It's still free. (I'm guessing it won't be for long - with no ads, they have to be losing money; so whoever owns/runs this has to have deep pockets/be philanthropic). Notice the percentages next to images; those are A.com's calculation of your chances of successfully hooking up with them...so post tons of pics (A.com allows a lot) and make a detailed bio....increase your chances....right here!

I don't see the shaming of kids by Chobani's act. They even point out that a bill was passed to outlaw it; In 2017, a bipartisan group of lawmakers in the House and Senate introduced a bill which would outlaw policies that publicize a student's lunch debt. These practices can include making a student wear a special sticker or wristband, or providing cold sandwiches instead of the usual hot-meal offering. As an ecology/environmental scientist I must disagree. Yes we're ignoring many signs - -the dying old trees in the Carolinas -the dying coral reefs -the shocking warming of the Northern Canada/Alaska range, and the melting of the Arctic; which could be ice-free in summers within 10 years. For every 1 city that has a record cold day (yes, they still happen) 1.74 cities suffer record warm days. We are ignoring these things.. But there's good things happening; 1. We're slowing our growth. The population still is growing - but it's slowed down from a peak rate about 3 decades ago. We're predicted to reach 10-11 billion and ZPG by the end of this century. 2. Alternative energy is making big moves....wind is closing in on hydro power. EV's are taking off. Solar panels are becoming solar shingles. 3. Nature stewardship is growing. Not as fast as many of us would like...but it is making progress world wide. I'm optimistic. I think we'll turn the corner. A lot depends on how big a nest egg you planned. I put enough aside to order a Tesla S. Then I sold my 3-2 pool home and downsized to a 2-2 on the beach (with a pool spa and hot-tub close by)....so I'm doing well. Still single. Happy to have moved a couple hours away from the kids and the on-off lady friend. Now you need to focus on fitness. it's easy to let that slip. Get a 30 minute challenge going every day. You eat 3 times a day...make it a longevity goal to exercise once a day. Good luck. Smile. Stay with us. keep us posted!

I'm in my 70's and have used Cannabis since my early 20's. Over 50 years. Half a century. Here's the facts. Smoke is hot carbon particles. These hot carbon and other drug-containing articles don't belong in your lungs. Don't give me that BS that your lungs are healthy and you have the same or less chance to get lung infections and cancer. You're lying to yourself if you believe that. It's clearly obvious that if you inhale dense smoke once or more per day, you're prematurely aging your delicate lung tissue. I used a filtered pipe for decades...but I developed a chronic cough. So I switched to edibles....cookies or brownies work fine. The problem still remains about dose and quantity, and whether you eat on an empty or full stomach. ....And it's this very inequality that demands legalization. Sometimes a ____ gram sized chunk does nothing....sometimes I think I'm having a heart attack. So I now rarely partake. I keep track with a sphygmomanometer. (blood pressure meter)....I go off the charts sometimes when i'm stoned. Strengths and types of highs are clearly well known. The point is that some- if not almost all of us - don't know the difference between 3-6% proof "beer/wine" strength pot and 180 proof "moonshine/hard-liquor" pot. Legalization will make this far simpler. It will also reduce the black market. It will also provide thousands of jobs. It will also reduce law enforcement and incarceration (a subtle reason why some racist lawmakers want to keep it illegal). Colorado has made millions in tax income; this could mean billions of tax income nationwide. Legalization will solve a lot of problems.

Flatbreads make great sandwiches. They're called "tortillas" if you toast them and shape them in to a holding pouch, or if you leave them soft (but warmed) then fold over ingredients and make an "Enchilada". You can also even prep them open, and make a mini pizza. The name of what you make isn't important. What you put inside, of course, is. Your ingredients can be anything from peanut butter and jams/jellies/marshmallow fluff to complex meats, greens, other colored veggies, and sauces. There's also just bean "wraps" beans and bacon, and other vegan/tofu combinations. The Sky's the limiit. Be creative. Be resourceful. Have fun....and if you've had a quadruple-bipass don't overdo it!

Now I meaure out 6 cups on the machine, which gives me two 16 oz thermoses full - and keeps me going most of the AM. Exercise is just not done 3-4 times a day. Eating is. Calories in - calories out. If you can't huff and puff and work up a sweat 3-4 times a day... just cut down on the calories in. The problem is...our eating habits are primal. Our parents genetics has a lot to do with it. What they fed us before we could walk and talk set the pattern for us. No wonder it's harder to "get off" junk food than to "get off" heroin.

I'm a retired science and Health teacher. Two of my greatest honors in life were NSF grants to study the "population Explosion" in '71 and earning permanent Health educator certification by passing a bank of tests in NY state around the same time. One of the studies I did concluded that the growing obesity problem in America has a simple explanation.... Enthusiastic, well meaning parents. What they fed us....and how often...set our diet patterns for life. Our diet and eating habits formed before we could walk and talk; so it was our parents who determined this. Now this doesn't mean be angry with your parents. They did the best they could with what they knew. What it does signify is that parents have a profound influence on our diet habits. There IS such a thing as "spoiling" a child. This almost pre-toddler habit formation explains why most diets don't work - the habits are so deep-seated it's hard to change. They're very strongly "Christian" yet they just live such a humble life...they just give to a growing number of kids who've struggled in schools, courts, and foster homes...and their charitable views are just phenomenal. So do most religious folk seem "superstitious, ignorant, hateful, or factually wrong" ? sure - but for those rare people that just like to follow the path of giving and giving...these people are borderline saints.

I live in a very Christian and republican area.

Bashing DJT....is going to work against us. It will never work for us. We have to stay calm.
