I'm passionately curious, silly, energetic, I wake everyday with a -like excitement and wonder what I will learn or do in the next 17 hours. I'm never idle - physically or mentally. Constantly inventing, designing, fabricating, modifying, restoring, repairing and re-purposing: a Maker, in today's vernacular. I walk a lot, usually on the beach in the morning as the sun comes up, and I walk ~3 miles a day in the lab. I fly Frisbee on the beach, swim in the Gulf, drink tap water, ride my crusty 58 Schwinn all over town. I make art; I sculpt and create physical objects that are unusual.
