I wasn't always a skeptic. At one time I was a FTB (Frothing True Believer). Through the years. I came up with convoluted reasons when my beliefs did not match my observations. And then one day I realized that I was just making excuses. James Randi's excellent book "Flim Flam!" helped ,me on the road to skepticism.

Another book I found helpful was Robert Sheaffer's "Resentment Against Achievement." Christianity is a resentment based religion, and I carried a lot of that with me, even when I was a skeptic. You can't build yourself up by tearing others down.

I have a lot of interests. I run the Roku private channel "Science Fiction and Beer," which consists of a collection of science fiction, horror, and odd films. I also make videos for the channel.
