Also, Blacks are not the only people who are on welfare. I know Republicans love to push that narrative. The argument is also disingenuous because if Republicans were really interested in helping to lift POC out of poverty, they would be willing to invest money into education and vocational training in the inner cities. They also would not support draconian legal punishments for small drug infractions
