i was given a bible when i was a boy, and was very disturbed when i read it cover-to-cover. About that time i was introduced to evolution in school. Made sense to me. i "worship" Gaia, but not in a religous or even spiritual sense. She is simply my sacred center of orientation. i am a wee speck of Her. i am a nonconformist, iconoclastic, critical thinker, who follows empericism and logic, but is cool with the idea that we will probably never understand all things. Beauty, the sensori-emotive complex, need not be understood. Nothing is supernatural. All that is, is natural, whether we are aware of its existence at this time or not. I am a wildlife biologist, forester and preserve manager, an ecological philosopher, writer, lecturer and yoga teacher. Mark Twain's "Letters from the Earth," and "The Bible According to Mark Twain" are the best dissection of religion that i know of.
