I decided to join here because I'd like to find like-minded people- in regards to atheism/agnosticism. It's difficult, at least for me, to broach the subject in everyday life.
I grew up in a Mexican Catholic household attending Catholic school up until high school. I was once so devote, I seriously considered becoming a nun (Lol). Fortunately, my affinity to science and being in a non-religious school gave me enough distance from my religion to leave it. I am now a pre-med student.
