I deconverted a couple of years ago after giving my beliefs a hard look. I asked myself why I believed what I believed and couldn't justify it even to myself. I've lost friends because of it but I feel freer and much less restrained. I'm a huge science nerd and I've been able to explore topics that before we're taboo to me and come away with a deeper knowledge of the universe. However, finding like minded people is incredibly difficult. It causes the biggest problems in romantic relationships. So my goal is to connect with people who are similarly unburdened.
