I have a question regarding shoes and shoe soles.
ShadowAmicus comments on Jun 3, 2019:
It may be that the toe pads are a softer rubber designed to give better grip. Are you sure these shoes are designed for walking and not for a particular sport. Or the problem may be how you walk - leading to catching your toe - maybe ask a friend to watch you walk from behind and see if anything is obvious ... or see a specialist for advice

From 7 years old I had clear guidlines - be home before dark. I would be sent off around 9am with a sandwich, bag of crisps, a catapult and my common sense...later I would have two sausages and two matches, to build a fire and cook lunch.... I would travel miles away from home, sometimes have to thumb a lift back closer to home. I had cuts, bruises and tiredness - once taken home by a friendly car driver who saw me fall over when walking down the roadside I had slipped 20 feet down rocks and had a broken arm and concussion. I survived with an independent spirit and a self reliance on my own capabilities that have served me well over the years.

It didn't get that way through people dropping litter, but is very easy to solve 1. If you get caught dumping rubbish you are fined and get to clean up a much bigger area - and if a vehicle is used it is confiscated, sold and the proceeds used to fund more clean up 2. someone living on the street - move them to a designated area - if they are claiming social payments, make them collectable 20 miles away - disperse the campers. 3. arrest everyone, for whatever legal excuse you have and fine them - if they cant or dont want to pay - they get to join a clean up crew 4 start killing the rats on an industrial scale

since the crux of your argument is that the money spent building a wall should be redirected to changing the hearts and minds of the mexican people and their rulers - by all means give it a go (I personally think it is unlikely to work) - but by the time you succeed there will already be many many more illegal immigrants come over that uncontrolled border. What a lot of faffing about 1. catch the chicken (pheasant, partridge, or other game bird is equally good) 2, build a fire 3 gut the chicken 4 cover whole chicken and feathers with damp clay 5 put covered chicken into low fire and cover sides with embers 7 wait 1 hour, pull cooked chicken out of fire, add little fuel to maintain fire 8. break away hot clay using stick or knife - feathers and most skin come away with clay eat steam roasted chicken once able to bear the heat you can stuff the chicken with fresh picked herbs, apple, or other available fruit This is delicious sorry all, I am used to getting by without the everyday niceties when necessary and enjoy getting back to basics sometimes
