As Carlin said, the “Owners” of this country know the truth: It’s called “The American Dream” because you have to be asleep to believe it.
I have read many of profiles in here; most of them are people portraying themselves as nice, smart, funny, down-to-Earth, laid back, open-minded, critical thinkers, and a bunch of other positively perceived characteristics. That made me think: If all of these are true, why are these people feeling lonely and seeking some company on this site? Shouldn’t these characteristics allow one to have a great social life and thus not become lonely?! (I have a few theories about it.)
