As an atheist who studied Life Sciences (primarily microbiology and genetics) I can state with a degree of confidence that there is a genetic link to some forms of mental illness. Further to that statement, mental illness can be defined as psychologically induced behavior that is outside the norms of society and if religious thought is the norm then it suggests that logical and scientific thought patterns would be outside the norm, or at best in the minority. Adults cling to imaginary friends and imaginary think like a young child clings to a ratty old security blanket, perhaps because most of us do a very poor job of maturing beyond the level of teenagers, at least that's my observation.

@Lizard_of_Ahaz get over yourself, I grew up in the most multi-cultural city in the world and have lived in many countries where I myself was the subject of racism. If you just want to sling shit then I will leave you to your hairless ape cronies and their whacky ideas, don't get vaccinated, get sick and if you survive you can come up with some new crazy conspiracy about why that happened instead of following the science and acknowledging cause and effect.

Exactly what time are they referring to, what is this Jesus time they speak of? Is this a fairy tale tree?
SnowyOwl replies on Jun 24, 2021:
@Willow_Wisp So not bathed in the blood of Jesus but the blood of a bunch of Jewish fanatics who thought they could take on the military might of the Roman Empire. The title is misleading but I suppose it got more click bait that way. Although when you think about history, around 79 A.D. the creation of the Jesus Myth was probably just starting to pick up steam so the title is partially correct.

As my divorce lawyer told me after the examination for discovery 'Change your name, move to Brazil and forget about those kids because you will never see them again if she has her way and given the current political climate, she will have her way'. I didn't listen to his advice and fought on to be a part of my children's lives, the judge told me that 'women had been persecuted by men for thousands of years and it was time for some pay back'. I tried to tell her that I wasn't even 30 years old and hadn't persecuted anyone but it fell on deaf ears. The last time I saw my kids my eldest boy asked me 'Are you the good daddy or the bad daddy' - I've been kicked in the nuts before it never hurt that much.
