Sexism

You bet they can, and I've certainly dealt with some on at least two jobs in the past right off the top of my head. That however is a topic the mainstream media sources love to stay silent on.
Should I drop this into the gun control group and say "We must ban these a-salt weapons.
SpikeTalon comments on Apr 16, 2018:
Aw do it man, do it! It's fun making anti gun progressives foam at the mouth!
Just walk up to a liberal and say this. "Gun control?
SpikeTalon comments on Apr 16, 2018:
Haha, good one!
I’m liberal or progressive on most issues.
SpikeTalon comments on Apr 16, 2018:
I have no qualms with abortion, the choices of others is of no nevermind to me. I will say this much though, if a woman decides to have a child and the man does not wish to be a father, that man should reserve every right to walk away obligation free if the woman decides to carry the pregnancy to term. LGBT rights- they already have rights, you do realize if another individual commits what could be perceived as a prejudiced act they would face criminal prosecution. When I live in a country where someone is forced to make a cake against their will for a homosexual couple, I defy anyone to tell me the lgbt community does not have rights. I am not convinced on man-made global warming, but do recognize that the Earth's weather patterns are changing due to natural causes, and thus I am absolutely for alternative energy sources and recycling. Of course I am for separation of state and religion, or else I wouldn't be here now would I? Lastly, I am very pro firearm rights and vehemently opposed to any "sensible" restrictions. Why, might you ask? Just look at the city of Chicago, which has some of the strictest gun control measures in the country, and yet persists as a haven for violent crime that includes guns, so thus is solid proof that no amount of legislation would curb gun related violence as criminals do not obey our laws. The leftist progressives are fueled by raw emotions, and it's a well known fact that when someone responds to a situation based off of emotion they would not make a logical and reasonable decision, so I don't want them telling me what I can and cannot have in what's supposed to be a free country with minimal government involvement. @Lancer @Trajan61

SpikeTalon comments on Apr 15, 2018:
Personally, I'm not here for the dating part. On the other hand, I've received relatively little feedback on most of my posts and have observed the same few individuals receiving loads of feedback on some of the most basic of topics. Just my opinion, all in all this is a decent forum to connect with fellow heathens. Being that I struck out already with a few women on here who I had passively discussed romance etc with, I think I'm going to avoid the dating part from now on.

SpikeTalon comments on Apr 15, 2018:
That would depend largely upon the individual, if he/she is looking for a deep relationship or if a roll in the hay would do just fine? Personally, I've enjoyed quite a few casual encounters with women both younger and older than myself, and none of them were interested in anything long term. Besides, "brief encounters" could make for excellent mood boosters and alleviating stress threshhold.

I was under the impression this site was supposed to be a haven for logical free thinkers...guess I was wrong. The lack of deep critical thinking on here is appalling, and quite a few were added to my block list. I'm not fond of blocking, but all the same I don't desire to lower my IQ listening to or debating folks like that.

Damn, police forces at both the state and local levels are way out of line these days. SpikeTalon comments on Apr 14, 2018:
Easy....satan accepts the supposedly evil people into hell to suffer for their foul deeds for an eternity, which would make him the good guy for punishing evil. On the other hand, the biblical god is willing to accept into heaven some truly evil people such as Hitler and Daumer, which would make him the enabler of genuine evil and thus the bad guy that I shall never follow or worship. Hell doesn't sound like that bad of a place when you consider that much.

Do more non-believers view life as a painful, unpleasant experience?
SpikeTalon comments on Apr 14, 2018:
Whether one chooses to acknowledge this or not, there is great diversity in this world, and varying opinions would be an obvious result of such. Over the years I have observed both religious and non-religious alike taking a somewhat cynical and hardened approach to life, and in particular the decision to end one's own existence. As someone who places importance on individual liberty and the right for each individual to make his/her own choices, I cannot tell nor would I even have the right to tell someone their views on suicide are incorrect. Bottom line is, life is ultimately what you make it, so I simply leave those be who may think suicide is the answer when life itself goes south. I often wondered just how important legacy is, knowing some day the Sun will explode and the Earth will cease to be, and no one will be left alive to remember anything anyway, no matter how long that may take to occur. There are other issues in this world that are far more concerning than suicide, and besides why dwell on such a negative topic? Life is too short as it is, every day above ground is a gift. Just a thought there, and thank you for your take on the subject.
I don't need a label, atheist or agnostic or what have you.

Do you get a lot of spam calls?
SpikeTalon comments on Apr 14, 2018:
Sounds like you need a call blocker app to get some peace and quiet from spam callers. I get them often, but my blocker cuts them off right away without my phone ever even ringing or the screen coming on. My old Android phone was rooted, and I had used the Root Call Blocker app, and that one rocked!
