Right now, I have an orange cat, completely orange, no white anywhere. Before him, I've had an orange tabby cat with white on his face, a grey and white cat, 3 black cats, three or four tuxedo cats (but not at the same time), a black and white striped Alley cat, a Tortoiseshell, and a black and white mix. My cat collection started when I was in Jr. High School, and the only time I haven't had cats is when I was in the Navy. They're all gone now except for the orange one, who is about 2 1/2 years old. So I'll have him for another several years.

Those Taurus 856's are a less expensive version of the S&W hammerless J frame. Looks like a nice gun. You're right about the recoil. Even with .38 Special ammo, those things kick like mules. That keeps a lot of people from practicing with them.

Last year I did not have a scale the turkey was 44 lbs. This year it is 28.4 lbs.

Beautiful picture. We just had a pair of cats adopted at Simply Cats, who are a normal cat and a blind one. The normal cat acts as a "seeing eye cat" for the blind one. So they had to go to the same home. I've never ceased to be amazed by what cats will learn.

Back in 1975, a cat moved in with me, and I named her Cleo. A few days after she moved in, when I woke up in the morning, there was a mouse carcass on the middle of the living room floor. A couple of days later, the same thing happened. I didn't even know the apartment had mice, but Cleo knew, and went about getting rid of them.
