I'm searching for a non-religious, smart, politically liberal woman, who knows how to communicate, and wants to spend time together.

I'm progressive, politically liberal (a democratic socialist), trustworthy, dependable, sensitive, monogamous, etc. I keep my promises and commitments and am the most honest and trustworthy person you'll ever know. I'm happy with life, have pretty good manners, and am not religious. I'm an atheist and a humanist, and so I don't believe in anything supernatural. I'm also a feminist, and concerned with civil liberties and social justice. I'd like a lot of these traits in my partner, along with good communication skills.

I belong to many liberal and human rights , and have been in responsible positions with some. I support the Wikileaks concept (Assange, Snowden, Manning, etc), am unhappy with the culture and militarization of police, and ashamed by the Israeli occupation of their Gaza prison. My values come from a reliance on critical thinking, the scientific method, democracy and social sympathy. My Dream ticket for 2016 was Bernie Sanders President / Elizabeth Warren VP. I voted for Bernie in the Primary, and Hillary in the General election. If you supported Trump, we are NOT a match, and I consider him a terrible human being.

People consider me successful, but I'm not a showoff, nor an egomaniac. My friends think I'm outgoing (and I DO get out), but I think I'm more introverted and private (though I will let my opinions be known). I've been divorced for many years. I'm INFJ (borderline J/P)

I enjoy doing just about everything = the arts & theater, comedy clubs, outdoor activities (I like the beach, racquetball, and water skiing the best, though I also like snorkeling, kayaking & biking). I enjoy good company and dining - and to sit with my girlfriend/partner and have a great conversation over an excellent appetizer with maybe a glass of wine.

I like tropical vacations best, but I've been in Newfoundland and Vancouver/Victoria (definitely not tropical) and loved those places too. And I'm also very happy with quiet and private times at home with someone I care about. I'm emotionally and financially stable & balanced, usually have a quiet confidence, and have no major baggage. That said, my "Type A" personality can still be challenging. I ask a lot of questions in the beginning, in an attempt to get to know you. Oh - and I prefer cats to dogs... I'm not really a dog person and currently don't have any pets. For those who have asked = I DO have a car, I don't have a criminal record, nor do I have any tattoos.

I'm ultimately wanting a solid, long term relationship with an ethical, trustworthy and emotionally stable, balanced woman who knows how to communicate. We can become intimate friends, life partners, or married - I'm not afraid of commitment. I love having a best friend to do things with - to work on projects together, go places together, share, and do the "hi honey - how was your day" thing. You must also be non-religious and politically liberal. I'll have extra interest if you're insightful, healthy, already happy with life, you love to smile, and you've posted a thoughtful profile or sent me a good letter. I've gotten along well with some sarcastic and smart-alecky women, and also with serious ones. I even have positive ex-girlfriend references if you need them. Most journalists, teachers/professors, and lawyers get instant credibility with me.
