They have in the past, and if we pay attention to the scientists, they can in the future. Tribalism is part of the problem. Some religious folks believe God will take care of us, or if we destroy ourselves, it is part of God's plan, and they are a tribe. Too many rich folks care for nothing but money, and ignore the science because of greed. These people are also in a tribe.

Living most of my adult life pretty much on my terms, ,going to bed when I want, eating when I want, pretty much doing what I want, when I want, doing a job l love most of the time. Perfect by no means, but it has been a life that suits me.

Not too difficult. I am a very adaptable person. I was recently discussing this with my long time best friend. We decided adaptability might be the strongest trait that has gotten us through life. Whether all the moving around to all the different towns and cities, or the very different types of women I have been with in my life, I have always adapted to the situation or the people to a degree.

Maybe if God had not been in such a hurry, things might be different. Six days is not enough time to put something together as complex as the Universe. Why the rush? Time certainly wasn't an issue. Maybe the whole eternity thing got to him, and he was just looking for something to do. Maybe the Universe is just a hobby.

This year is the 50th anniversary of one of the best low-buget horror films ever made, IMO.

You are right about them being like a job interview, and we all know how comfortable that is. This is not a natural way to interact with people or to get to know them. Expect awkwardness from some people. So many of the people on this site have spent twenty years or more in a marriage and now find themselves in the dating world again.
