Exotic animals no. I don't believe birds should be caged. Animals we have domesticated through breeding for centuries, especially dogs, yes. We need to cut way back on breeding. Around here they have a catch/neuter/release program for feral cats.

If you actually know anything about dogs then you know they need us as much or more than we need them. if you don't know this then you really do not understand what we have bred dogs to be in th last couple of hundred years or more. Go get a Chihuahua, Pug, Dachshund, Pekingese, and the list goes on, drop them in the woods, go back the next day and look for their remains if there are any. These are no longer wild animals and haven't been for a long, long, long, time. The dogs that do survive will form packs and become very dangerous. I guess you could go out and shoot them. That would be so much better than living in a nice house and getting treated like royalty.

I keep trying to explain to my other progressive friends, we will not adopt progressive ideas until we put religion in its proper place as they have done in Europe, so it may be awhile. We will fall behind the rest of the modern world until we do.

The money he is getting in his Washington Hotel, which is for sale, will not make a dent in those debts. The legal fees he will be facing will be astronomical if he can get decent lawyers to represent him. He won't be moving into a two bedroom apartment, but he is hurting.

I have met some nice people there and have reconnected with people I lost track of years ago. Because you don't like FB is no reason to call the rest of us stupid. I would imagine you and I would probably agree on most things like a national healthcare system, and free college or at least a very affordable tuition to include everyone an opportunity. I am a big believer in a system similar to the nordic countries.

It will and always has drifted left and right, sometimes depending on what is going on at the time. We are a centrist country and I believe as long as religion has a stronghold on this country it will remain that way. We are a centrist country and I believe as long as religion has a stronghold on this country it will remain that way. That makes no sense at all. If McTurkey controls the Senate Biden has to work with the Republicans. If he doesn't we have four more years of getting nothing done. He can't pull a Trump and govern half the country. He will be the President for all Americans. Let the states go after him and take Biden out of the mix, or this shit will go on just like it has for the last twelve years. I would like to see Trump in jail, but not at any cost.
