When l was in elementary school my best friend and next door neighbor had a sister with polio. We used th visit her when she was in an iron lung. We had a lead guitar player in the 90s while living in Taos who had polio when he was a kid. You could tell it was something that realy fucked with him as an adult. He felt like some of his symtoms were coming back in the late 90s. In the early 2000s he jumped of the gorge bridge to his death. We didn't complain about having to get the polio vaccine, we wanted that vaccine. It should be no different with this. Over 700,000 thousand dead in this country and they still think this is not real or a threat. This and the love of Trump are the two weirdest things l have ever witnessed in my life.

I read a post the other day which pointed out if you made $5000 a day, every day from the time Columbus reached this hemisphere to the present, you still wouldn't have a billion dollars. No one should have the money these people have. It drains the overall economy, plus they don't stimulate the economy with their spending. The people who shop at Walmart, Penny's, and the other local businesses are the people who stimulate the economy. Like other countries, kingdoms, and empires in the past; greed will be our down fall if we don't correct this.

I have been married 3 times, 20 years single between no 1 and no 2. My brother has been married 3 times, for 35 years and still going with no 3. Our sister has been married 3 times and is single now. Our father was married 3 times and our mother was married 3 times. Our family crest has a big no 3 on one half and a divorce lawyer on the other half. Given the size of Texas, over 268,000 sq miles, and its diverse population, a hair under 30,000,000, it is rediculous to paint all Texans with a broad brush. Austin is far more liberal than most of the places most of the people on this site live. If you think El Paso, Dallas, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Ft Worth, Houston, Austin, and Lubbock are the same , you need to get out more. In the last election every major city in Texas voted blue with the exception of Ft Worth, no surprise there. What Texas does have which is a problem nation wide is an urban/rural divide. Given the size of this state our rural area is bigger than most other states entire area. Hopefully Abbott's handling of the power grid, the pandemic, and now this ridiculous bounty on women will do him in next year.
