Do you dance? Sometimes I get a tune stuck in my head and will take a step or two at home, in the store, where ever. Like to get out once in awhile and boogie. Years back I did Jazzercise routinely. In college I took contemporary, jazz and African.

@barjoe The former and present Police Chief in Camden was on TV today. He said they were all fired including himself. That busted up the union and they turned the whole thing over to the county and rebuilt from their. It seems to be successful with a very large drop in crime. Murders are down like 95%. Must have been a bad place.

I have no problem with private ownership of shot guns and hunting rifles. Hand guns should require a special license for special reasons like someone transporting large quantities of cash or gem stones, certain security jobs...We will get there one day.

@glennlab Kinky is not easy to play behind. We played behind him at the old Soap Creek Saloon in Austin. Hanging out with Kinky at his dad's ranch was a hoot There was just three of us, Kinky, local disc jokey and entertainer Sammy Allred, whowe use to play behind occasionally, and me. Both Sammy and Kinky were smart and funny, so it was a great night. Kinky is still smart and funny. Sammy passed a year or so ago.

@Lorajay Actually in the midterms every major city except Ft Worth voted blue. It is changing as more and more people move here from other states, especially California. It is the urban/rural divide. I Googled the red and blue counties in this country, and was stunned by that obvious divide even in red states. If the electoral college went away it could be decades before another Republican got elected to the Presidency.

@MissKathleen This guy has rhythm. You can't do that without an excellent sense of rhythm. Most musicians have a good sense of rhythm some don't. You can't be a good rhythm guitarist, bass player or drummer without it. A sense of rhthm does not always translate into a good dancer. Like anything else you have to want to do it and then do it alot. Most musicians do not dance very much, maybe because we watch people dance all of the time and know most can't dance and they don't want to be that person.

Nope. He will lose. They will make noise as they always do, and then nothing. Unemployment and no money might make people on all sides of the political spectrum go nuts. IMO

@Observer-Effect l don't think it will last. No country is as large, diverse, and complicated as we are. It is a strength, but it also makes it difficult to get us all or most of us to get on the same page on so many important issues. We seem to be stuck and can't make any real progress. Maybe this will be a seminal moment in our history, good or bad.

That doesn't mean I have to respect them, and I don't. I am hostile toward racism. I grew up with seperate bathrooms and fountains. There were still lynchings. Any racism, any denial of racism, or any glossing over of racism really, really pisses me of. There are things I don't like I will tolerate, this ain't one of them, even the teeniest, tiniest bit. The a racism of cops I tolerate even less than that. They take a job and swear to protect and serve EVERYONE, not just us white folks.

Of course there are black cops that are bad, but not near the numbers, and if they protect bad cops then they are bad cops. In my lifetime l have yet to see a regular beat cop come out and say this has to stop. NOT ONCE. That makes them all bad. Whether you agree or not l could not give one fuck.
