I have no problem with private ownership of shot guns and hunting rifles. Hand guns should require a special license for special reasons like someone transporting large quantities of cash or gem stones, certain security jobs...We will get there one day.

@glennlab Kinky is not easy to play behind. We played behind him at the old Soap Creek Saloon in Austin. Hanging out with Kinky at his dad's ranch was a hoot There was just three of us, Kinky, local disc jokey and entertainer Sammy Allred, whowe use to play behind occasionally, and me. Both Sammy and Kinky were smart and funny, so it was a great night. Kinky is still smart and funny. Sammy passed a year or so ago.

I have played behind him and hung out with him one night at his dad's ranch outside of Kerrville. @Lorajay Actually in the midterms every major city except Ft Worth voted blue. It is changing as more and more people move here from other states, especially California. It is the urban/rural divide. I Googled the red and blue counties in this country, and was stunned by that obvious divide even in red states. If the electoral college went away it could be decades before another Republican got elected to the Presidency.

@MissKathleen This guy has rhythm. You can't do that without an excellent sense of rhythm. Most musicians have a good sense of rhythm some don't. You can't be a good rhythm guitarist, bass player or drummer without it. A sense of rhthm does not always translate into a good dancer. Like anything else you have to want to do it and then do it alot. Most musicians do not dance very much, maybe because we watch people dance all of the time and know most can't dance and they don't want to be that person.
