@SeaGreenEyez If you think we can just switch to a national bealth care system in a very short time you are being incredibly naive. It will happen someday just not quickly. Blaming Obama is just plain silly. How would you get the Congress to fiance it? Right now that would never happen. You couldn't just take from the insurance companies over night. The economic fall-out would be catastrophic. As l said it will happen, but it will be very complicated and take time. It may not happen until the Boomers are pretty much gone. This virus may speed it up and it may not. Americans have very short memories when it comes to the bad.

He anounced a lot of EOs that got shot down in the courts, but no one pays attention to that. This is not on Obama at all. He is the first President in your lifetime who managed to change the system at all. He got what he could knowing it would kill him in the midterms, and it did. He said on the day he signed the bill it was just a place to start. Without the ACA we would still be where we were with no end in site. The Supreme Court has already ruled the ACA is Constitutional.

He couldn't get universal healthcare. It was all he could do to get the ACA. You can't get all Dems in the Congress to vote for universal healthcare and no Republicans would vote for it. ACA was the start in that direction. It will be a slow, complicated, and difficult transition to a Govt run system because we have let the costs get out of hand.

Most Americans don't have the means to accumulate money, but they do have credit cards, so they run up their debt buying shit they don't need. Credit card debt in this country is $1.04 TRILLION.
