He anounced a lot of EOs that got shot down in the courts, but no one pays attention to that. This is not on Obama at all. He couldn't get universal healthcare. It was all he could do to get the ACA. You can't get all Dems in the Congress to vote for universal healthcare and no Republicans would vote for it. ACA was the start in that direction. It will be a slow, complicated, and difficult transition to a Govt run system because we have let the costs get out of hand.

@Bierbasstard Some definitely would. would. Mexican weed use to be everywhere in Texas, but not anymore. The quality is not there. My favorite from the 80s was "skunk", my favorite of all time. I have gotten high with Willie back then, and that stuff was as good as I have ever had, and he got his stuff from Arkansas. The good stuff has been around for s long time, but there is a lot more know as growers are a lot more knowledgeable and sophisticated in their techniques.

@Fred_Snerd Most of it has been the fact that the press and the parties spend so much time and money digging into every nook and cranny of politician's lives looking for dirt, that it isn't worth it. If you are someone who has tried much in life you will have a skeleton or two in your closet. Therefore we end up with the lame douchebags we have now for the most part. That won't change anytime soon. Also don't forget about the Citizens United ruling by the conservative run SCOTUS allowing corporations to dump unlimited amounts of money into the political system pretty much selling democracy down the river.
