Why There Are So Many Incompetent Male Leaders

Sticks48 replies on Jan 13, 2020:
@Gwendolyn2018 People have left. I believe conway and miller ( They don't deserve capital letters in their names ), just love being close to the seat of power. I thought Obama was one of the most charismatic people ever. I met Ali and I can say he had charisma coming out every pore. Obviously other people do not feel that way about them at all. I know race has quite a bit to do with both of those examples. I don't think most of trump's hard core followers are going to find a really intelligent person charismatic because they feel somewhat inferior to those people, as most of his followers are uneducated, and feel like they are looked down on by these people whether that is true or not. What they don't get because, because they aren't very bright is trump and his ilk do look down on them where as Obama and the people like him really don't. IMO

@Spinliesel I will ask him. They do all Dead songs, but they don't try to copy the Dead. Jerry has a voice reminiscent of Paul Simon. He rotates a lot of different players in and out of the group so it can take on a very different feel depending on the players on any particular evening. One night he did a trio with these two really good players who obviously had at least some background in jazz. It had that kind of feel of the small jazz combos and clubs of my youth, but it was all Dead songs. You might like them. My sister-in-law is a Dead Head and she really likes them.

Its own weight turned it to "dust". That fire was not a regular fire. It was jet fuel, which burns much hotter than a regular fire. We have been at war with someone for all but 16 years of our existence as a country. What would be the purpose for our doing this. Wars are terrible for the economy. Now let's get back to discussing religion and how much it affects our everyday life in this most fucked up country. 😊

@Allamanda I was much more optimistic in my youth. Over the last forty years I have come to the conclusion humanity is a failed experiment. As for where we live. The mainland U.S. is unlike ant other country in the world. We have over 350 million folks from every race, religion, and culture trying to make this work. No other country is this complicated, and maybe it won't work in the end. This next election may determine whether it will work or not.

@Paracosm I don't know why people worry about people being introverts. I lived with an introvert for nine years and we are still friends. She only sees me and her youngest daughter and her family. @IrishTxJudy I am an extrovert and I enjoy my quiet time, lately more than ever, but I don't talk about it all the time like introverts do. If introverts don't socialize how are we supposed to know they exist, yet they seem to get upset when we don't know they exist.

@IrishTxJudy It doesn't hit a nerve, but I have noticed the self proclaimed introverts on this site spend an inordinate amount of time talking about themselves. Self absorption is a huge turn off. It is like they want attention, but don't want attention. If they are so not into being socal they would not be on social sites. They seem to want to be treated as if they are something special and of course they are not, anymore than the rest of us.
