@SeaGreenEyez No I don't. I had a gallbladder removal a few years ago. I struggled with digestive problems for a couple of years after that. my sister-in-law made a great green chili stew with pork and I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. After that day no beef, no pork. Too much fat and no gallbladder to regulate the bile. Fish, chicken, and turkey are fine. That veggie patty made by Morning Star Farms works really well and sits so much lighter on my stomach. They also make a sausage patty I really like.

Jeb was the one being groomed for that job. Jr wanted to show Jeb and Sr and did. Like l said Jr let Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rove convence him he should finish the job his father didn't finish in Iraq. Cheney and the other neocons sent Clinton a White Paper when he was in office explaining the need to take over a Middle Eastern country to better control the oil flow over there, and came to the conclusion Iraq would be the perfect country. They convinced Jr and even Powell that Sadam was evil and had to go, faked the whole phony nuke intelligence and here we are. I'm certainly not condoning what Bush did,but comparing Bush and Trump is way off the mark. Niether one was suited for the job, but they are very different people. Trump doesn't have a decent bone in his body, while Bush knows he fucked up and regrets what happened, something Trump will never do. And yes ex-Presidents do tend to form a bond whether they become close or not. Clinton and Sr became friends through their work in Haiti. Bush really wasn't crooked. He was inept. By the time he figured out how he let himself be manipulated it was too late. If you remember, Cheney and Rumsfeld were not near as prominent in his second term. What will be interesting is living ex-Presidents is a very small club and they tend to bond on some level regardless of party as they are the only people on the planet who can relate to the intensity of that job. @Allamanda I have very specific reasons for blocking. Gender bashing ( men or women ), trumpsters, gun nuts, homophobes, and what I perceive to be the really stupid. I realize the last one is totally subjective and I know there are folks here who think I am stupid, and I am okay with that. Evert once in awhile a posting by someone I have blocked or who has blocked me slips through, but I don't know why. It also cuts down on all of the alerts I was getting. Before I started freely blocking I would wake up to about 70 alerts every morning and whatever else I was getting through the day. Now I wake up to maybe fifteen or twenty alerts and then what I get through the day.

I spent a month in the hospital where I was treated great as my sister-in-law was head of the radiology department, and I would have done anything to get out of the hospital after about two weeks. @Allamanda The religious right has been this ugly for as long as I have been alive and long before that. This country is driven by money and little else. We have a saying, "no matter the question, the answer is always follow the money. Everything else is a sideshow.

What a load of crap. How does a decline in Christianity lead to a rise in racism. When the hate filled rhetoric and the most violence against minorities comes from self proclaimed Christians. Terminology is constantly changing.

@Allamanda Yep. Our problem in this country is urban vs rural, not Christianity vs secularism, and that is only going to get worse. This is what will change our country much more than a decline in Christianity. Even in national politics it won't change much because of the electoral college and the fact red states outnumber blue states by a bunch.

I would imagine there are some non-believers in the Congress just as we have had non-believers elected to the Presidency including trump. They can't admit it and get or keep their jobs. How often do they get it wrong? If you no without a doubt I have no real problem, but that is not how it works all too often. Since 1973 until 2014 the Innocence Project has helped 144 on death row get there convictions overturned. Those are just the ones DNA was still available. That is the reason to eliminate the death penalty.
