All of our doctors made that. @rathswohl Greed has nothing to do with scarcity. All of the billionaires in the world did not get rich because of scarcity. That is just a silly argument. Sociopaths are born sociopaths, just as geniuses are born really smart and the really stupid are born really stupid. We are not born with a clean slate. Most of who we are is genetic. Those genetics will determine how we react to outside stimulus. I know a couple of doctors who are part of the doctors without borders. The reason they can afford to do that is because of the money they make being doctors. Most doctors don't become doctors because of this need to serve mankind. They become doctors because of status and the money they can make, which is fine. That doesn't mean they won't make great doctors. Doctors will not be replaced by AI. Some surgical techniques will be. As I said before, there is nothing in the recorded history which shows human beings are capable of this selfless behavior you dream of. Your world will never happen anywhere on a large scale. You believe people embrace change, and they don't. It takes folks a long time to accept change, if they accept it at all. Half of the people in this country have IQs in double digits. Stupid people continually vote against their own self interests over, and over and over. They do this because they are stupid. You paint a lovely picture, but your naivete is off the charts. Thanks for the conversation.

@Hastur If you lived in a town of 80,000 or however many folks are here, I will bet you would find a lot more than 164 people you don't care for. Like I said it cuts down the clutter. I would wake up to over 70 alerts, and now it averages around 25 alerts when I wake up.

Boy do I hold that tension in my body. Sometimes when I am playing I will notice my shoulders tightening (my shoulders are where I usually carry tension), and l will have to tell myself during a song to relax my shoulders. I play better when I am relaxed.

Since we are human, logic will go by the wayside when those all too human feelings (love, hate, anger, greed, jealousy, insecurity, fear) take over, and they always will. Unless you can change our DNA those things will always be present. You must remember half of the people have double digit IQ's and logic is not what guides the stupid.

Our lead guitarist is going through this in Mass even though there was a will because everything was in his fathers name and he handled everything. They had been married for over 70 years and back then that is how it was. It is getting straightened out but, Chuck has to keep going back there to help her get through this process. When our father died in Illinois, he had no will and it took over two years to get all of that settled. I doubt if NY is any different. Even though you are young, if you have a substantial amount of money or property you need a will now that you have a child. It can always be changed.
