As l have said before the best and the brightest do not become cops. The job sucks and you get a lot of people who are just small minded bullies. Every big city police department has them, but the police DON'T police themselves and almost always protect those bad cops. This is why most folks have little respect for law enforcement officers., and yet they are surprised. That is where the not too bright part comes in.

Kent State was the National Guard (sent by the states) not the military. The military is much better trained. We trained for this when I was in the Army. The National Guard are amateures not professionals. It is not legal for him to send troops to the states for police type duty without an invitation from the Governor or declaring Marshall Law which has to go through Congress. Remember he says a lot of crap that never happens. When I was in Austin, Nixon sent the DEA to search UT students on campus and the Mayor threw their asses out of town. He does not have unlimited power.

Call me silly, but I don't look to politicians for advice when it comes to issues dealing with my health. I am a hugger and handshaker.
