He followed it up with Shambala. He was on the same label (RCA) as Three Dog Night. So Shambala was climbing up the charts when RCA releases TDN's version which knocked BW off the charts, so he left RCA. I didn't know him well, but I did spend about 12 hours with BW, my brother Michael, BW's steel player at a bar we owned at the time. Later that night we all played together. A nice man who died too young. I will post his version of Shambala.

They hate change, science, smart and or educated folks. The Republican party learned to play on those fears. Conservative talk radio is even better at playing to those fears, so hear we are. @t1nick History and common sense. It really isn't as complicated as folks like to make it. One day this lousy little backwater planet won't even exist anymore. That is how much all of this matters to the Universe. You and I both agree slavery is immoral. For centuries it was acceptable all over the planet. This was not considered immoral for all that time and humanity survived. We probably have very similar ideas of right and wrong, but that doesn't mean other folks in other societies would agree. They would find our ideas of morality completely contrary to their own, yet their societies survive.
