I can understand her not wanting you to stay there with the children at home, but there is no reason I can see why she can't spend the night at your place occasionally These children are only thinking about themselves (the 16 and 19 year olds I can understand) and not her. This will not change. I have had this happen with children in their thirties. This is on her to fix, and evidently she doesn't care to change this. It is up to you of course, but l would run.
