When I moved to Austin in the seventies, I got caught up in the whole country rock, Willie and Waylon thing, which was weird because I did not like country music growing up. Now I like pretty much everything but rap, because it is not very musical, opera, bluegrass, it has a tonal quality I don't enjoy, and I like only a few metal songs, as I am really into rhythms and melody.

My brother and I have been through between 35 and 40 band mates and matettes in our over 40 years of playing together. I can only think of one other player I bonded with like I have with Chuck. I think l know what you mean, but because of the differences in the way men's and women's brains interpret some things "all" is not really plausible IMO. I have learned, especially on this site, there are a lot of women who are genuinely pissed off men don't think like they do, and genuinely feel there is something wrong with us because we don't. I have met a few of those women in my life, but until l came to this site, l had no idea how many there were. I have blocked mostly men on the site, because l felt like they were just stupid, and they might feel the same about me, and that is okay. The woman l have blocked has been because of their anger toward men in general. I don't blame women for my choices in partners. They were MY choices. No one forced me into those situations. If a third party candidate did win, do you really think either party in the Congress would work with him? Do you think they would want him to succeed? The way to change things is turn over the Congress when they don't respond to the people. The voters can change it just like that, but they generally won't, especially when it comes to the Senate. They will and did do it to the house this time. Adding a third party a candidate usually puts the person in office whom that candidate likes the least and whom his followers like the least. There isn't a government on the planet that isn't corrupt. It is a matter of degree. A third party candidate will not fix that problem.
