@graceylou Sounds good to me. I do love that place. It seems like no matter where l eat there it is good. I love the buildings and feel of the quarter. I love old architecture. That is the main reason l don't like Phoenix. It is too new. NY was fun. One night my brother and l walked from Times Sq down through Little Italy, part of China Town, and SOHO back up to Mid Town where we were staying from midnight till 3 in the morning and never felt threatened. We got to do a couple of really cool things l will tell you about sometime.

@GreatNani I don't really think about what l haven't done. I managed to live most of my life on my terms. What l do think about for the first time is how long before my health goes South. Right now l am pretty healthy. I take no prescription drugs. I can still play drums and get to do so once or twice a week. I also wonder if l will have another shot at love or a relationship. I have been single half of my adult life, and l can do this, but l do miss sharing things, small things. Let's see if l bore you. ☺

Haven't been around lately, I'm working crazy hours.

If you don't know you are one of my favorite people on this site, then you haven't been paying attention. I am not a music snob at all. I like everything but bluegrass, rap, and opera. I never put anyone down for liking any kind of music. Whatever moves someone moves them. I my not understand why they like it, but l would never put them down for it. Sorry you took that wrong. @GreatNani Mine has been since April when l turned 70. I never had a birthday bother me till this one, but this has me thinking to many negative thoughts. I know it sounds stupid, and think it sounds stupid, but there it is. I really do feel for you. It gets exhausting.

@GreatNani l try. On the occasion l sleep for 20 or 30 min. it helps me, but that is rare. I couldn't nap as a child either. My problem is l don't get to sleep till 4 or half past four, but l wake up around nine like l did when l went to bed at two. You have to go to work, right?

@CaroleKay My brother and l had that happen to us with a stupid song we co-wrote in our 20's called "The Vibrator Queen". Someone in the audience somewhere recorded it, re-recorded it, and put on an album of songs which included "Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw" ( a Jimmy Buffet song ) and "l Heard You Been Laying My Old Lady" a song written by a late friend of ours named Rusty Weir, and sold it in truck stops. Later David Allen Coe claimed he wrote it, put out on the net probably, sold several thousand copies and we got nothing. Granted it is not a great song, but it is or was ours. Such is life.
