Texting and messaging are fine in an established friendship, but not for long conversations. Saying you have this great friendship with someone you have never met or spent real time on the phone in real conversation is WOO! If a person doesn't have the confidence to talk to me in person or on the phone after we have spent time texting or messaging, why would I want to know that person better. Go be boring somewhere else and don't waste my time.

I don't want the extreme of either, but I lean toward the cold side. Of course I am living in the extreme heat side right now, but that is only about three months of the year or a little less. Humidity plays an important part in this, whether it is cold or hot. Dry heat and dry cold are much better.

That ain't gonna happen. At one time most every adult you know was that kid. I would feel safe in saying most grew up to be adults you don't like or would not want to hang out with. The human race is what it is. If it survives long enough it may evolve into something better, but that could take thousands of years or more.
