There is a constant battle to avoid creep because we are constantly bombarded with ads to buy more stuff. If you have less stuff you will also have more money and more free time.

They certainly make it look cool to be popping around but in dream time it is just a useful tool to move things along or to get out of trouble. Imagine for example that you are in a fight with a huge snake in your dream and it has its coils around you, it is trying to bite you in the face and you are struggling to hold it back with your one free hand, so BLINK! and the snake is holding nothing but air. :) Very Handy.

I had a carpentry crew that used to do work for me but the church was always calling them off to work on their special projects for free. I finally had to stop using that crew because they were unreliable and wouldn't honour their contractual obligations to me when the church called. God before Mammon is what they would say, so I cut off the mammon I was paying them on a hotel job they were framing for me and billed them for the delays and knock on costs associated with their breach of contract.

My Welsh girlfriend leans over and asks me how much money I have on me, this is back in the early 80's so no credit or debit card for me, I tell her 30 dollars and she checks her purse and passes me $10 more. I don't get what she means so I push it back to her, how much can a couple cups of tea cost, right?
Except this was a country inn run by a British couple that had retired to Canada, so when they said tea what they meant was High Tea - so a whole pot of tea, crumpets and short bread and biscuits and cakes and custard, etc. etc. The bill came to just over $40, I had to go out to my rolling wreck of a car and raid the change slot to pay the bill and I didn't have enough for even a token tip. I speak Canadian English, it's close to British English but not really the same, I still have no idea what Americans speak half the time. ;)
