Math/CS Professor at nearby liberal arts college. Love dancing, hiking, kayaking. theater. travel. Looking for a compassionate, intelligent companion who is looking to enjoy life to its fullest and does not sweat the small stuff.

I am quite a left-leaning liberal but I enjoy hearing and discussing other perspectives. Having said that, I tend to shy away from extreme right-wing conservatives. I love animals and currently own (or shall I say am owned by) two cats. I love dogs but my current lifestyle and living space do not support owning one.

I love travel and would like to do more. I love visiting NYC and do so whenever time allows. However, I love living in the "valley", where I was born, raised, went to school and have worked my entire life.
