My local church is about 40 yards from my front door. A fine old building and the church is used for tea mornings, bric a brac sales, concerts and various events, if only they would drop all the supernatural nonsense. Like that's going to happen. I guess in the UK atheists are generally accepted, maybe not so much in the USA. Bloody daft really, bible classes in the Senate? Seems so obvious that all religions are created by man. Doubt that my thoughts (and prayers, hoho) will reverse any blind faith believers, still each to their own. The challenge for me is convincing parents of any faith that they may have the right to bring up their kids how they like, but they do NOT own their 's minds, I wish. Well that's the whinging out of the way. Meanwhile I am living the dream, well almost, semi retired, have a wonderful daughter who lives in Spain, like to keep busy, travel and have fun.
