T victory showed that the Electoral College system works. Unfortunately the wrong person won. For 2020 we need a Dem who can run without carrying baggage. @Frankjd I fell into journalism because I needed a job. I got an undergraduate degree in biz/foreign trade and a master's in Spanish. I went to Mexico City intending to stay for a year. I was there for 13 years. Ended up with 2 college degrees, a wife, 3 kids and a condo. My wife was a native speaker with whom I always communicated in Spanish. The kids are bilingual of course. My daughter learned French and now works for FIFA (Int'l Soccer Fed).
