I have not had a card since I was 19. Bad idea. Intrest was like 21%. Unless you can pay it in full when due, don't use it. Friend of mine has a Cabelas card (sporting goods store). He used it to pay for seed, then paid it off with his operating note. Got lots of free crap!

@LucyLoohoo I have shopped there in the past, but not in years. The last time was several months ago. My mom is 74 and she has a hard time getting in and out of a vehicle. I asked if there was ANYPLACE else I could go to pick up what she wanted. I love my mom so I did it for her. I wasn't even in that place for 5 minutes! The ONLY time I will shop there is if they are the only place open, and I really need something ASAP. The last several times I was in the parking lot of one I was with friends. I refused to even go in. This decision originally had nothing to do with the nuts with firearms. It's because they are a dirty company. I did have a sams club card years ago. I go to Costco instead. They treat their employees a lot better. They also are much mor willing to help you find something. Once I had a question about something electronic. The guy said he didn't know, but got his manager ASAP! Plus they are willing to get a big cart for something like a freezer, or any big item. Wal mart starts at $11/hr and Costco pays an average of $17. Plus they don't lock you i n at night and make you work for free!

One time this guy threw a friend of mine out of a moving vehicle. Him, his girlfriend, and her son came bashing on my door around 11 PM. I opened it and they just iinvited themselves in. All he said is he need a place to hide. I had no idea what was going on. He was drunk. A few minutes later I got a knock on the door. It was my friends brother. Asked if I had seen him that day. I didn't see him that day, but he showed me some pics of his brothers face. Curb rash was bad. The guy that was at my house only got a ticket for disturbing the peace. He would come over late when I was sleeping. Banged on the door like a SWAT team until I answered. This happened so often that my neighbor (decorated soldier) would hear them and be looking out the window to see if everything was okay. His wife looked up his profile (she worked for the state). Said he has mounds of papers on him. I also know that my house was being watched. I wasn't doing anything, they just found out he would come over all the time. Another thing is the lead invertigator for this county and him were buddies. I personally gave this guy some evidence. Court house said they never got it. He got fired. He breaks into abandoned houses, and never got caught. I was thinking this mysely, and never said this really to anyone, but he has to be a nark. Some people told me that's what they thought. The night of the last assault on me the county attorney said he said we were a half hour away with another guy. Not true, I was just with him that night. They kept on asking me about it. I did talk to the guy, and we were never together that night (they drilled me so bad I started to second guess myself). Another time he came over late, and dropped over some schmopps. Bottle was open, and he insisted I took a pull. A little while later I started feeling weird. The lights tv and everything were off. I kept on looking back and forth between the tv and window. Alcohol doesn't do that. I called my business partned the next day. He told me to dump it. I should have called the police. I know there was something in it. I asked him several times if he put something in it. Always said no. He claimed that another friend bought it. I asked her later, and she said she has never bought schnopps in her life! I did get extra patrol around my house, and I have others looking out. I reinforced my house, and if he breaks in here, it's the last thing he'll ever do. I got more stories about this guy, but I think I typed enough for now.

One guy (who was my best friend) spent 12 years. Has been to jail 3 times since for assault (most cases weren't reported). Over a year ago I got knifed by the guy. He is still yet to be sentenced. One morning I got a call from a friend that was on his way to work. He said that their was an officer sitting in the back alley of this guys place. I was on my way to the gas station to get some breakfast. On the way back I noticed two other police vehicles in the front. I asked the county attorney what that was about. Yet another assault, resisting arrest, and a weapons charge. They raided his house. I got an order of protection. The first was automatic (someone saw me covered in blood). I then got it extended for another year. I was in court for about 5 minutes. No I didn't intentionally drive by his house. I live in a village of 600 people and everything is within walking distance. He has been intentionally driving by my house. Called the police on him twice, and the first time they said since I couldn't prove he was driving. Second time they said there was nothing they could do because it was a public road, and I'd need a special order of protection for them to do anything. Last weekend I was on my way to a friends house. At a stop sigh I saw this guy. He came up on me like a bat out of hell. I was tempted to slam on my brakes (he would have hit me). I didn't stop at my friends because as I guessed he turned into there. All I wanted was the 2-4-D I loaned him last summer. Not worth seeing that guy for about 30$ worth of chemicals. Plus it is getting too late to spray. Some felons reform ( I know of one). The others just learn how to be sneakier about committing crimes.

@bobwjr I know you are/were a PA. I saw a pain specilist many times in Norfolk. He could not fix me, so he sent me to the Nebraska Spine Institute in Omaha. Medical pot is not legal here. A friend of mine who is in his mid 50's has the same back problem as me. They still give him narcotics, but they don't work. He smokes pot. He works long hours, and never misses work. I'm sure his boss (and everyone he works with) knows. They don't care. When my back started to first get bad, I was over at a friends house. His friend was smoking pot. I didn't want to smoke, but he was a contract killer. So I took a pull. Back pain =0.

@bobwjr I had two epidurals done. Then a full blown back surgery. It was between the L5 and S1 which pinched on the syatic nerve. I've broken a leg, several ribs dislocated, 3 skull fractures, and two broken eye sockets. All of these combined wasn't close to as painful as my back. They don't give me narcotics any more (and doesn't do much for nerve damage). They had me on Opana for a while (like taking 10 oxys at a time). I was building fire trucks Nov before last. Back went out. Spent $700 for an x ray. Scar tissue formed causing arthritis. The specialist didn't bother to look at the x ray. How do I know? He told me. My sister is a chiropractor with her own practice. She said the same about fusing. She said I will regret it later in life. They give meloxicam, and I am supposd to take it once a day. I don't take it unless my back really acts up. I take it with a full glass of water, and then I eat a big meal. It takes 30-45 mins for it to work, and about the 3 hour mark, my stomach hurts like hell.
