I understand your situation. My father was a mean alcoholic. He is still an alcoholic. My instances happened almost every day when I was young. Hated him for most of my life, now we are best friends. One thing about abusive parent is that they need to realize that some day they will be stronger than you. As far as undeserven punishment, I have a story. When I was in 1st grade there was a kid in my class that had a studder. One time he was talking to the teacher. She told him to stop studdering. He could NOT help that. Plus his brother just died in a tragic farm accident! She made the entire class put their heads on the table. All but one. That one was me. He did nothing wrong, and even if so, the rest should not be punished. So she told me to go to the front of the classroom. I did. The only reason I did was because the rest of the kids told me to just do it (whilst their heads were still on the table). They would be punished more on my behalf. When I got up to the chalkboard, she hit me so hard that I started crying. Crying bad. She then drew a circle and made me put my nose against the chalk board. None of us did anything wrong! That did go to court. She was never fired, and I had to switch schools. Don't know if she is still alive, but it would give me great satisfaction to do the same to her! Most of my childhood was nothing more than being abused. However, decades later, I learned to stand up for what's right! Little guy getting picked on? Stand up for them. Although what lots of people did to me - in some ways - I could not be more grateful. I am tough as rhino skin. I would have not learned that without the assaults. I know that sounds weird, but I've learned to be more kind towards others. That has bitten me in the arse tho. I'm sending a former friend to prison. If you want to know more about that, I'll tell you.

Every firearm has a different application. You are probably not going to use a Browning 50 cal to plink cans. On the other hand you aren't going to use a 22 short to hunt deer (legally that will get you into big trouble). Point is the the AR-15 was designed to replace the M14. It was designed for one reason. It's purpose was to kill humans. Yes, you can hunt with them legally (here anyways). Standard mag is 30 rds. Here you can only have 5 to hunt. Plus you look like an idiot hunting deer with it (and you need 62 grain - most are 55).

The person who wrote this article needs to figure out what "Einstien Religion" is. He believed in a supreme being, but not a personal god. Read "The God Delusion" by Dawkins. If you look at my profile, it says Antitheist. I do not believe in a personal god, but some sort of supreme power. For me it is against absolution. We don't fucking know. You could say "Agnostic", but I prefer spiritual. Einstein also said energy can never be created or destroyed, only converted. Pothagrious (sp) thought god was the sum of all numbers. I believe in things, but only what I feel. I can't explain that. Kind of like if you have a back problem, weather changes a little, and you say "it's gonna rain". People say there is nothing in the forecast. After a while, when you know something is gonna happen, people believe you. My point? The only TRUE god is the god within yourself.
