I 100% agree with you! My new tactic would be to go to a coffe shop. Not a bar. Not a club. When you do online dating, it's not like meeting IRL. They say a women can tell if they are interested in you in only a few seconds. If you spend a lot of keystrokes on someone, you meet in person... then you realize instantly that you aren't who you think they were. Lots of times when you aren't intentionally looking, you find someone.

I'm looking for a pistol that holds 6-10 pellets. CO2 powered. Something that can drop a coon easily at maybe 50'. Something that has some sort of quick way of tapping into the co2 can. The one I had you had to screw in it from the bottom. If you have to mess around with that for a few seconds, the varmint could be gone. If you have the co2 seated for a while, it will lose charge. Twards the end of a can, it will barely eject a projectile. Something that doesn't have overly redundant safetys. I had a Winchester Model 94. You had your standard safety. I could see the hammer visibly all the way forward so it wouldn't fire (plus it had the half cock feature), AND you had sweeze the lever for it to fire. Too damn clumsy. I sold it. I have a Marlin that is 10X superior. I have a round in the chamber. Hammer forward, safety off. If I need to use it, pick it up, pull hammer back, pull trigger. I do similar with my 30-06. Keep 4 in the mag, safety off, but the bolt is completely open. I've been doing a little digging on Amazon. This one got good reviews, but I don't know if this would kill a coon, or just hurt it. One shot, one kill. How do you deal with back pain?

I had to have part of one of my vetrabre taken out. It was pinching on the syatic nerve between L5 and S1. Extremely painful! To this day I limp. Some notice it more than others. I usually don't unless I was lifting too much, or bent in the wrong direction. I felt fine after the surgery, and didn't take my pain pills as directed. I still have some. Didn't need them. I am surprised they didn't recommend theorpy! The spine specialist did for me. Felt fine and was like "fuck it don't need it". Wish I would have. I know of two people personally that have had similar procedures done. One guy I talked to said when he went to therapy, they told me they had him swing his legs back and forth when sitting, then on the way up and back to alternate crossing your ankles. He said that nerve damage repairs itself about 1-3" down your leg per year. Said it took 11 years for him to get 100% better. The other guy smokes pot. He still gets narcotics (which are hard to get anymore). But he's about 55 and has been on them since like 16. The pills don't work. He works 60-80 hours a week.

Do you think a high powered bb/pellet gun/rifle should be on the same restrictions as a firearm?

I was really looking for what the gun restriction people were saying, But I'm only getting vague answers. This topic is on the fence for me. I know some states are very strict about just about anything. There are checkpoints at the california/nevada border that want to confiscate fruit. I did say firearm specifically, however IIRC the ATF definition is something like "something that fires a projectile with an explosive charge", or something like that.

@lerlo Thanks for another great reply! I appreciate it! I did tell VINES that I will testify. I talked to the gal, and she asked me to meet up earlier than the court time. They'd give me the low down on to what is going down. If I didn't testify, the County Attorney would not take it to court, I've known this guy for maybe 5 years, and we were best friends. I know he is going to try and pull something. I just know it. Might have a guess, but don't think he can fool the court. Not this time. It's not a question of If he will assault again, it's WHEN. I was over at his house quite a while ago. His girlfriend had a black eye. I didn't say a damn thing. However, the first words out of her mouth weren't "hi". It was "Ryan didn't hit me". I found out that he does beat her. One time her 5-year-old son asked me "Mike, if I told you something, are you going to be mad". I said no (I babysat him all the time). "Ryan beats my mom". I asked him if this was true. He said yes. One time she came over to my house sobbing. It was about her abusive relationship. Usually the trio comes over. This time it was just her. This isn't the first time he has beat a woman. I can't get written statements (like I said). Don't know how much good it would do anyways since none of them saw the incident. First he claimed I was never with him that night. He got arrested maybe an hour after I made a statement. I am not in any trouble. It took a lot to have the protection order extended. I was in and out of the court room in about 5 minutes. Granted. One of the 5 times the Police came to talk to me, I was at my dads. Two officers came in to ask more questions. My dad served from 1965-1971. He said right to the officers (with video cameras on) that if he came to his house "he'd fucking kill him". He never swears, but he was expert in pistol (1911) and rifle (M-14). If there is a third instance, I'm not really scared about me. I'm scared what I will do to him. I really don't like to sleep in a wooden chair with a loaded rifle. Fortunately, I have good friends that watch over my house. Some claim he went missing. He's hiding because he knows he fucked up. I got the call from VINES, not the County Attorney. I asked what would be expected, etc. She said to stick to simple yes and no answers. The public defender is going to try and trick me into saying something I don't mean to say. I need to move far from here after the court date. You are right about people not chiming up. I want to finish my second degree from Software Engineer to Criminal Law. Not to protect criminals, but to protect others.

Yes we did land on the moon. A friend of mine worked for NASA. My mom met Neil Armstrong. The missions are very expensive. Probably why we weren't back. That has the same logic as flat earthers and people that claim planes can't fly. Also some of the "staged" photos can be explained.

@twshield In a lot of ways I think even intelligent people want something to be true. I saw a "documentary" a few years ago called "The Last Will and Testament of George Harrison". It was basically saying that Paul McCartney died in a car accident in 1966. Subliminal messages were about his death in their songs. They covered it up because they feared there would be mass suicide. I wanted it to be true. I watched it a second time, and noticed that the release dates for albums were way off. Both for the US and in the UK. Whoever made the tape was very creative.

This is the best reply by far! Kudos! IIRC the satellite was called the Sputnick 1. We have bee in outer space. Look at GPS. MOST of the time it goes off the WASS system. That's a government satellite used for GPS. The only other one I know of is RTK. That's private, and is used for commericial applications like farmers where you need to be accurate sub 1".

Thank you for the reply. I'll try and make this short. Background about the guy. He is a former friend. When I first met him he was really cool. Previous to me meeting him, he had spent 12 years in prison. After a few years, I know he relapsed. He'd just act weird for no reason. Come over to my house in the middle of the night, wouldn't stop bashing on my door till I answered. I told him several times not to come over so late. I got sick of it, so I stayed at my dad's for a while. My mom and dad were on their way to see my sister in Colorado. My dad called the house phone, and said there was a police officer that called his cell asking where I was. He thought it was a prank. Few minutes later I got another call. This was a 4 digit number. The only time I've seen a 4 digit number is if it is the police or military. They asked if they knew where I was. I said you are talking to me. What was the call about? This guy reported me as missing! I wasn't missing, I just didn't want to be around him! When he could come over (unannounced) police would drive by my house all the time. This guys wrap sheet is very long, and just by associating with him, I have some very long time friends that flat out told me they lost a little respect for me. Here's the good part. This guy knows how to get away with things. In the past maybe 24 months, he has committed multiple assaults. The first was when he threw someone out of a moving vehicle. The guys brother came over and showed me pictures of the road rash on his face. The assaultant left him in the middle of the road, and two people saw him and had to carry him home. That went to court. It was dropped to disturbing the peace, and I think he just got a $100 fine. Second time him and another guy got in a fight. He was charged with strangulation and terroristic threats. They both went to jail that night. I thought he was lying, but when he was in the holding cell, he was ripping out pieces of plumbing and destroying toilets. The other guy had a cell right by his, and verified it was true. In court it was dropped to mutual combat. Sentenced to 30 days in jail, but only served a total of 21. How did he get off so light on these charges? He claims he was defending children. That and the lead investigator of this county and him happen to be friends! Same one that is handling this case. With his violent past, and his drug buddies, he's gonna come after me with a vengance. I already explained this to the police. They said they'd do an extra patrol around my house. Happened for a short while, but not in a long time. I didn't want to report the incident, or the first time he assaulted me. He always has a way of saying "I'm back on my meds, and I'm better. People believe him. Thanks, but I think most of my creations, should be taken away by hazmat, and be put in a madman's lab! One time I was making a stew in a crock pot. Everything was fine after a few taste tests. I put the pot on "keep warm". I wanted all the flavors to blend overnight. I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and thought I have some dried onion that needs to be used. Dumped the entire vile into it. Next morn I wanted to try, and I was hungry. Started to chow down. After many big bites, I thought something isn't right. Kept on chowing down. Then I thought "garlic"? I looked, and the bottle said garlic, not onion. I did get sick. I had to toss that out. No way I could have saved it.

I've read a few posts on her lately saying that online dating doesn't work.
