Most people don't like their jobs. For me I can only do a limited amount of work, and that lets me pay the bills. I'm certified to do a lot of things, but I have a 20# weight restriction on my back. Not a lot of jobs out there that allow me to work. Plus I get anxiety. My income and jobs fluctuate a lot. I need to find more stable work. I went through VR, and they couldn't help me find anything. Best bet is to try and find some sort of legit work from home job. No I'm not going to do telemarketing. There was one advertised in the paper. I really didn't want to do it. Plus it was barely above min wage, and I had to use my phone. I couldn't stand being yelled at all the time. Also the guy I talked to on the phone asked if I was disabled. Legally they can NOT ask you that. I think their endgame was to make a script saying I was, and use that to make a sale.

I was in the Boy Scouts (troop 211) still have both my uniforms. IIRC they never forced religion onto me. They are bias against gays and athiests tho. Which is bullshit. I'd talk to the troop leader, or just maybe let him join since he believes in god? The Boy Scouts does teach you some life lessons tho and some morality. I don't know of any other similar group out there. Plus if you make it to Eagle Scout, and join the military, you are already one rank up.

I don't think it has to do with someone wants to be agreed with all the time. It has more to do with people that have similar interests. Take this site for example. If you are a Catholic, and you sign up, you're probably a troll, maybe just an inquisitive well-meaning troll. I have two groups on here. One is Guitars Only. The other is The Computer & Electronic Group. Both are designed for people to talk about topics they want to, and both encourge others to help people when they have a problem. On the guitar group, I'm not a Fender fan, but if someone needs help tuning (or whatever) someone will probably help. Same goes with the computer group. I started that specifically to help others. Computer repair is not cheap. If it's something easy to fix that someone else dealt with, they bashed their head against the wall for a long time to figure it out... might be able to tell someone how to fix it in 30 seconds. For example with the computer group, you are far more likely to get replies on a group that specializes in that that in the General and Hellos forum. I'm not going to go and ask an Electrician group if I'm having problems with my toilet.

I agree with you 100%. Windows ME was called "Windows Mistake Edition" by a computer magazine once. Windows XP was their BEST OS! They were supposed to support it until 2020. They stopped supporting it a few years ago. Vista was a joke. 7 wasn't bad. Just loaded down with shit to make it slow. Windows 8 and 8.1 sucked! In Windows 8 they removed the start button! They've had the start button since I think Windows 3.1! That was in the early or mid 90's when I first started to use computers! Seriously how bad is it that someone that has used Windows for that long has to do a web search to figure out how to shut the fucking thing off!? I just hold down the power button. So many people complained, that they offered 8.1 as a free "upgrade". I do have windows 10 on my laptop. It had Windows 8 on it, and if you read the EULA, you CAN get your money back if Windows is installed, but the computer company will void your warranty. After the warranty was up, UBUNTU! Microsoft being as nice as they are, don't give you a recovery disk anymore! I had to take it to a computer shop. Only reason why I had 10 put on it is because I NEED it for a potential job. They claimed GRUB messed the computer up, and the Microsoft key wouldn't work! No, I think it was Microsoft that locked it out. I had 4 cats, and there was enough cat hair in there that it overheated during a kernel update. They had a whopper of a time trying to get it to work. They even had to buy a special piece of software to get 10 to install. I did have to call Microsoft once. I just wanted to verify the install code. That they would do for free, but other than that, I had to pay $40 just to continue. There was an 8 that looked like a B. They don't even want you to install their stuff you paid for! There was also a lawsuite about having IE pre-installed. The computer shop didn't charge me for all the hours they had into it, but it was still $300. The first and last Apple product I will ever buy was a macbook air. It was so fragile that the screen cracked after about a week. Wouldn't warranty it (no point of impact), and it was $600 to replace the screen! I hated using it, and when my other computer went out, I ran it in clamshell mode through my TV. OSX is just UNIX with a nice front end. A few years ago my sister wanted me to go with her to find an external HDD. There were two WD HDDS that were identical. Only difference was one fas formatted to HFS+. They wanted $10 more for that. I told he I could format it for her. This was the FIRST time I ever used OSX. Took only a few minutes to figure out how to format it. I HATE how they force all this iThis iThat stuff on you. iDontWantIt, and iDontgiveashit. I've removed iTunes. I did get a bag of chips from the gas station a few days ago. It was mozzarella and marina flavor. Be damned if they didn't taste exactly like advertised! There was an article about one of the chip companies (can't remember which one). They have guys in a lab make up new flavors. They also add stuff to make them more addicting.
