There is a book a sociology teacher recommended to me. It's called "Things My History Teacher Never Told Me" or something to that effect. You are correct. The history books are written by the winners of the war. I graduated in 2003 in the US, and I NEVER remember hearing anything about Vietnam.

@Boogey I get your point. On the other hand I know a guy that has been smoking for 30 years or so. He smokes in the morning, then at break, then after work. He works ungodly amounts of hours, and has never been late. He smokes because his back got broke when he was in his mid teens. The narcotics don't work for him. He lost his trucks and CDL because he got pulled over and found RX narcotics. BTW this guy drives heavy equipment. I know his boss knows, but he doesn't give a shit.

I can play 220 BPM all downpicking, but classical or finger picking is a whole nother world. I think the only finger picking I've done was when I played Across The Universe. Any kind of facial hair is good for me. Very few men I have met look better clean shaven as opposed to having some sort of beard going on. I'm not a huge fan on the long ZZ Top look but if it's well groomed then it works.
