As far as I can tell I was born an atheist. My was Pentecostal and tried all the fire and brimstone stuff but it didn't take. I truly never realized that some people actually believed that stuff until I was in school.
I am a husband and stepfather, and 6 years ago my wife gave birth to my first biological child. None of my family are believers and while we aren't forcing anything on anyone we are also not using myths and legends to control our kids.
I recently retired from the Navy after 24 years.
All of my friends tell me I am a condescending, sarcastic, asshole.
