God belief itself doesn't bother me much. In fact, I think some people are better off believing in a god. I hear them question why I'm not out murdering, pillaging, and all that other fun stuff since I don't think there's an afterlife ... makes me glad they Do believe. What bothers me the most though, is fighting science. Telling our children not to listen to the scientists, instead, rely on faith. I also don't like threatening children with hell. I put my suredness of no god at 99% ... I tried to change it to 99.9 but can't figure out how. The reason it's not 100 is because God is not scientifically defined, and I think it's very possible for there to be civilizations a billion years more advanced than us, and/or able to transcend (in a scientific way) the big bang .
