Born and raised in NYNY. By a couple who had no clue about their own spirituality. Was forced to endure 8 years of catholic school. I guess because they thought it was best for me. It may have been peer pressure. But I was the one tortured by it. Always resented organized religion as long as I can remember. Finally gave up on the whole god idea when I came to the realization that it made absolutely no sense in so many ways.
