There is a thinker, in the sense that there is a human brain in which these thoughts are occurring. I think it's true that thoughts are not chosen, and just appear, and that prior causes impact what appears. But they are still in your physical brain.

When I think of prog rock, I think of Yes, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, and King Crimson. I love King Crimson. Jethro Tull kind of fits there too, in my opinion. Of course, there are later examples, but I kind of lost track as I got older and got into different things.

Interesting. A guy who used to work with me in my office said he could tell by my voice if I was talking to a man or woman on the phone. Of course, that was 30 years ago. I've learned a lot since then, mainly from my wife and daughter. I hope I'm rid of even the benevolent sexism, that I'm sure I got from the era I grew up in.
